The Aztec girl in the red appears in the liberal arts city novel that was teased at the end of railgun S but was unfortunately skipped over. This is because the anime is adapting the manga (which is the main source of railgun) but the liberal arts city arc was a novel.

Wait What

Yea, which is why Saten asked her in episode 2 if they've met before since they did meet in the novel.

Lexie

Yes, Baba is ridiculously evil, but unfortunately quite a realistic villain. People like him do exist.

TheErisianMonk

21:20 Your research was quite wrong, and had you mistakenly think Baba was in the know. To him, Mikoto Misaka was laying on the ground somewhere, miserably being unable to move her body. Until now, when he learns to truly fear the Railgun.

TheErisianMonk

22:25 Well, he is doing a job, and in Academy City, that does mean that he is controlled by someone. Unfortunately, Mikoto thought he was working for Mental Out.
