Idk man... a major reason he gave Gintama another shot is because 304/305 (Khan doesn't know the ep numbers) were chosen by a huge chunk of his fans as the best anime eps of all time. Hopefully he forgets by then, but that whole revelation is what makes those 2 episodes legendary.

man if someone thinks those episodes are all gintama is, they did not understand gintama at all, plus the spoiler isnt even that big a part of things we get to know later on, so i dont think this is gonna affect or ruin his overall enjoyment and experience with gintama, i think its better to just let it die down and not keep bringing it up either way

Saw the spoiler, that one really sucks but the good thing is that the context for it isn't there and it's one out of hundreds of character and story moments that make Gintama so good. It's still going to be an amazing journey though so I wouldn't worry too much
