Imagine having literally No right to Talk good about fairy tail for so many years because everyone Said it is absolute Trash. I am sad because they'll never feel what i felt for fairy tail. Watched It Back in 2011 and Till today I am appreciating It. It Sounds nerdy.... but fairy tail Made me feel Like I was Part of this Family.

Fairy Tail is an amazing show, so glad your enjoying the journey! Now that your pretty much halfway through the series who's your favorite characters? ALso will you be watching the filler arc thats coming up? I recommend watching it cause its decently written and the creator of the series had a hand in it.

(No Spoilers, just my opinion) they said it at episode 100 as well. if he skips the "filler" arc , then he is back with another 2 of the top 3 arcs in this show imo.

2? Opinions and all, but there's only really one good arc after the timeskip imo (cant say names because of spoilers, but it's the second big arc after the upcoming one). Rest of the arcs are average overall ( some have some good moments but that's all) or just plain, straight up bad. But that's just my opinion.

Dunno if you'll read this Khan, but I actually never finished FT cause I was busy at the time etc.. So in roughly ~50 episodes I'll be mostly blind watching alongside you. Will be a great journey!

The only people who I'd say are "wrong" are the ones who just jump on the wagon of what seems to be the popular opinion, and like being hypercritical for some weird reason without realising what the demographic of shounen anime like Fairy Tail is. Not everything has to have amazingly intricate and detailed writing like AOT to be someone's favourite.

I used to like FT a lot when I was around 15-16yo so I thought it's just a show that young audience will enjoy, but later on found out that a lot of adults and long time anime fans like FT as well. I don't care what people watch or enjoy, everybody should watch what they like, but I like to at least understand why they like and enjoy certain stuff and fairy tail is one of those anime, where I just couldn't figure it out.

personally I think it has a nostalgia factor for a lot of people and also its easy to get attached to the characters so makes you stick around for the entire show to see what they get up to. FT does feels and emotional scenes really well so if you enjoy stories about family/friendship bonds then its so easy to love ft imo. Not liking ft comes from holding it to the standards of other animes, but if you just take it for what it is then its just a really comforting and fun series
