THIS IS JUST TO SEE WHAT THE PEOPLE IN HERE THINK, LIKE I SAID BEFORE JUMPING ONTO MANGA WILL EVENTUALLY HAPPEN, WHEN, THAT I DO NOT KNOW. BUT WOULD LIKE TO SEE WHAT MAJORITY OF YOU'S THINK IN HERE.

AT THIS MOMENT IT BE ANIME ONLY FOR NOW

Comments

Ethan

I say wait til end of roof piece then manga

Dan Ayriyan

I’d say, be anime only for wano and whenever wano ends switch to manga so end of series isn’t spoiled. That’s what I’m doing

Hansi

I think you are so good on avoiding spoilers that you should stay anime only

Rahul

It's true if you experience the manga blindly it's an amazing experience, I read the manga too but honestly the peaks of the anime are something you won't experience by reading the manga

Steinmjo

You should do both still. It’s nice to compare the mediums

Nirvana

If u gonna jump into the manga sooner or later then why not do already

Megan

id say whenever theres a turning point in roofpiece, since u already know about s**g*d u should begin reading there so you understand what led up to it. so around september/october it will be at a point where you got hype moments in the anime and you can start reading the manga and it will be a perfect mixture.

Kamui

I read Manga as well but I'm more hyped waiting to see my favourite scenes getting animated Although I admit reading Manga has benefits as well

Hissatsu

Khan continue with anime as long as you can live react...then do manga on your own after

Megan

but even when u jump on manga it really should be a temporary thing, thats how it is for me. if i get spoilers ill read up to that point and then go back to anime only. being manga for the rest of the show will probably ruin the experience for you ( my opinion, manga lovers dont jump on me)

Xo1717

Manga definitely I’ll explain why , 1- avoiding another spoilers 2- the thing u got spoiled was already spoiled so there is no reason to keep watching anime now since u know 3- to reach where the manga now anime will need 2 years that’s a long time 4- u can watch manga and anime to see the big events lately This is why i want u to watch manga , if that “thing”hadn’t been spoiled i would vote for anime finally it’s up to u goat 🐐♥️

Pedro

wait for the end of wano at least, stick with anime this animation is top tier it would be a waste to read the manga with such gorgeous animation they are doing with the fights

Kamui

I think Khan is so far good off being spoiler free Spoiler happens to him "only" once in a blue moon kinda.. but when it comes, it hits hard for him :( And Wano benefits currently from very good pacing in the Manga compared to the Anime

Ali

Man someone in the comments spoiled something fuck you

Rahul

My point is, going blind and experiencing the peaks of the anime is somthing you would remember forever. Chapter 1000 was increíble in the manga yet the anime was something I will never forget. Same applies with specific moments of episodes that the anime elevates so much. The manga is way more consistent tho and its still amazing, as long as khan can he should stick to the anime, if not then manga obviously.

Xo1717

Delete ur comments that’s spoiler

Xo1717

Khan will block u

Hamood

Stick with the anime bro

Hamood

What his name ?

MartiNReacTs

bruh... you are spoiling anime only with the 2nd point in the patreon...

Ali

Xo1717

Mel

Manga man it is not even close People have mercy on this guy and let him read the actual One Piece

Pedro

what about the people who didn't get spoiled on that yet? fk em? this guy...

MartiNReacTs

Maybe what you could try is for once read chapter before episode... try it out for one episode and see how it feels

rokitup

Nah u waited for so long and you're up to the climax already. Wait till the end of wano, it would be a disappointment to miss out on the animations that are coming soon..

Hamood

Just edited your spoiler comment and also your very smart guy…

Johnn

Read the Light Novel instead. The manga doesn't explain it as detailed as the Novel

Zhiar

Im going with Manga and also reacting to the episodes still. But I recommend not reading the comments on here since there are a few spoilers.

Hamood

Stfu

Matt

I genuinely believe the people who vote to stick to the anime are just selfish lmao. Most of them are likely anime only fans and just want Khan to stick with the anime because it suits them. Most fans agree that the manga is an overall better experience than the anime. There's also the huge added benefits of not having to worry about spoilers nearly as much. Not much downside to switching to the manga.

rokitup

Bro are u serious? lol. Why are you talking about the times when it will be hype and mentioning the other names? Delete the comment

Johnn

i will fk ur asshole bitch

Xo1717

Well said

rokitup

Stupid points. Point 1 and 2: Most people got spoiled on it, even the manga readers, so it shouldn't be surprising, there's way more context to it and it was expected anyway. That absolutely doesn't mean you have to watch the anime, just because of 1 spoiler lol. Point 3: It's about 1 year away, not 2 years... idk how you got that. Point 4: He's already made it this far in wano and can just read the manga chapters after watching the anime counterparts.

Pedro

And the people who read manga are not selfish? manga overall better experience than anime? what did you smoke lmao? this is why manga people suck always spoiling and trying to make people reading the manga when one piece now has such good animation, if it was animation from the 80's then probably but the animation for this fight is already one of the best there is out there and if khan doesn't like spoilers imagine knowing everything that is coming before it gets animated, all the hype gone

rokitup

True, the spoiler he got spoiled on was one that even manga readers couldn't avoid. And knowing the spoiler, it was kinda expected anyway. Khan's already made it to the main fight now, why start the manga now? Just wait till this arc is over or if he gets spoiled again

MartiNReacTs

how are the animations gonna be any less exciting? For example that ending in episode 1015 was just as hype for me and any other manga reader as it was for Khan... he can still react/watch the anime even if reading manga

Xo1717

Ur so stupid at math anime will take half chapter per ep u do the math , u think spoiling isn’t that big deal how about someone spoils big events in the anime related to one piece or character deaths it could be silly to watch something u knew the end of it , he isn’t this far in wano and u know it so stop acting like stupid people and vote for what ever u like , I don’t give damn about ur opinion

SammyBlueBiscuit

I vote manga, because Khan will have the time to read each panel and not miss any detail, not to mention the benefits of avoiding spoilers in the future.

MartiNReacTs

Yeah, think the spoiler thing is the biggest con for Khan... would love Khan watching tekking :D

SammyBlueBiscuit

Exactly, now that one piece is reaching its end, spoilers will be massive and be everywhere

MartiNReacTs

??? Pedro, have you seen his reaction to chapter 1001? He literally said on each and every moment that manga did it better...

rokitup

No lol, you manga readers are selfish because he's the one who prefers to watch the anime over reading the manga. He's said this multiple times. I'm a manga reader as well but I want him to continue enjoying it how he wants. The main reason he doesn't want to continue anime is because of spoilers. If he hadn't gotten spoiled for this arc, he wouldn't even think about reading the manga. He's already made it to the fucking main fight and now yall want him to start reading when he said he'll read it later on anyway..

Razyel22

You’ve already gone this far, may as well stick to anime

MartiNReacTs

rokitup you are delusional... are you even watching his videos???

rokitup

Turza we've just literally started the main fight. I agree that the filler was bullshit but let's at least wait to see a few more episodes before making a judgement from one episode. If the pacing continues to be bullshit then I don't mind but the animation fights from now on will be worth it

rokitup

It's the animation of the main fights. Are u telling me a fight is more exciting in the manga?

MartiNReacTs

This episode's fight was 100% better in manga... Khan said it himself in his chapter reaction that all of the moments were better in manga (plus the Sanji bs filler shit never happened in manga)... and you can't expect 1015 treatment too often...

Chris J

If you have real love for Khan then you would vote manga. . People voting Anime couldn’t care less if he gets spoiled as long as you get “your” blind reaction. I wish he would stay anime too but he loves one piece more than anyone I’ve seen and he deserves to finish the journey without getting spoiled .

Crowseye

At the end of the day, only the manga displays how Oda truly wants fans to experience the story. The anime is great, but the pacing, unnecessary filler, and even some changes here and there just make the manga better for me. For the hype fights, the anime does a great job like 1015 and you can still enjoy it after reading the manga but overall the manga is something I think every fan should experience bc it is simply better.

MartiNReacTs

" before making a judgement from one episode" What? OP anime been like this for years! Feels like its the anime fans making the "judgement from one episode" after 1015, which was awesome, but guess what... those episodes are too rare and not only that... I as a manga reader enjoyed that episode just as much as Khan did. It's 18-24 month from chapter being released to it being animated so you never really remember everything

Burak

I dont think so, since manga readers can get spoiled too since raw comes out earlier so the possibility is always there. You also will see that reading pages even tho its hyped will not feel the same as his anime reaction but thats just my personal opinion.

Pardock

I vote manga, because I see how much you suffer (like I do) with Toei's bs. When Toei is at its best, it's really good, but I don't think it's worth it if it only happens in super special ocasions like 1015. As you know, you'll have to jump on to the manga at some point and I think you know deep down that you're gonna LOVE IT. Even if it doesn't seem like it to you right now because you're used to the anime. You'll get to see peak storytelling from the hand of Oda himself right as he intended. And the great anime episodes you'll love them anyway because you'll get to relive the story animated. But you won't miss Toei's bs I can assure you that. Also no more spoilers, you can talk about your theories with all the community as the story comes out right as Oda writes it and so on.

rokitup

Ok let's just wait for a few more fighting episodes in this arc and then compare it to the manga. If it's as bad as episode 1016, then I won't mind.

Zubayr

exactly

Pedro

Turza OP anime has been like this for years? feels like someone still didn't watch wano arc, if you think the animation for wano is the same for all the previous arcs you are just hating at this point

shh

Your manga reactions are so animated, I feel like I'm watching the anime anyway. Do what you want the most.

MartiNReacTs

I meant it in the padding and stretching thing... I know that it looks better

MartiNReacTs

but very few people read raws/spoilers and also in that case khan could engage with the community for 4 days a week

Jajoe

I can't vote bcs it is your decision. You enjoy the anime a lot and I like seeing your reactions to it. Let me just say this, reading the manga is quite enjoyable. For example readin OP and speculating, theorizing, or finding hints is one of the better aspects of the OP community. Oda leaves so many hints in his lore that you imo get better in manga bcs you read it in your own pace, which is mostly lost in anime since you need to concentrate on the anime and read the subs. Some things just fly by. So, choose whatever you want fam

Pedro

Yes with that I agree, at the end of the day it all comes down to if khan wants to wait weekly or not (even tho he will have to wait weekly with manga aswell), as things are now and with this fight I would say it's definetly worth waiting, it's a unique situation and if khan goes for the manga all the other anime reactions most likely won't see the light of day for a while lol let's just let him decide

Zanarkand

Posting comment again since it was deleted (even though i had not spoiled anything smh) WARNING: anime ONLY readers, DO NOT read the comments, there are a few spoilers so be careful! I'd say that manga would be the "best" choice since there are too many pro's than con's: -You can actually watch OP videos/theorie's and make your own theorie's as well, join the OP community, we could watch OP related videos together on stream/ mods can chill a bit more.. etc -Less worries about being spoiled in the long run, hence one of the main reasons i decided to go fully with the manga. BUT i would be more than mad knowing what the OP is, when Luffy becomes PK and many other things that happen in the future and i'd still have like 2+ years of anime to go through.. it would KILL my mood for the anime. -I am mainly a manga reader but i still enjoy the anime as well, hype moments like 1015 are one in a life time but just because i know what happened doesn't mean i don't AND can't enjoy anime. Remember when you watched the Special Barth EP's? You still enjoyed them A LOT yet you seen the things already months ago. Also the time gap between anime and manga is like 1-1.5+ year'ish apart, it's nice being refreshed on what happened already. Most if not all manga readers on YT react to the anime weekly too, just because you read manga first doesnt mean that you cannot enjoy anime. -Wano (anime) has been insane for the majority so far but ever since after the Oden Flashback it started to take the mediocre route again (imo). -I do understand the people who voted for anime and my guess is that the majority of them are anime only as well, it's difficult to switch to manga when all you had was anime first. Regardless, it's up to you on what brings- and will bring you the best enjoyment in the long run. That's my 2 cents.

Hansi

And waiting always 2 weeks for the next chapter

rokitup

I'm talking about the fights which were definitely better in the anime like zoro and killers attack or when luffy predicted kaidos future attack, not all the moments. Khan just said the kinemon attack looked better with a couple of other panels (not fights though). He didn't say all of the moments were better and actually said anime was perfect till they added in the filler.. it's all just about that filler

Megan

yall getting on my ass for no reason he posted on youtube that he knows about #5 like i literally said in my comment.

Megan

ok the time thing i didnt think was spoiler? i was just saying that i believe in october/september he will know enough information about whos fighting who and whats truly going on rather than just certain people & by that time he will be able to read manga. also he knows about #5.

Hamza

I would say manga just for the sole fact that you would be inherently protected from spoilers. But also, manga is really good with no bs fillers like today

Stefano Stef

Bro anime, i regret so much reading the manga bcs wano is so beautifuly animated and the muuuusic

ᴘᴀɴᴅᴏʀᴀ

The highs of the anime are much stronger but the lows are also lower. The Manga is pretty consistently good but you’ll always enjoy a really good anime episode more than a chapter. Also please be wary of these comments people are kinda going hard on future events without outright spoiling.

Shockzz1234

"You've gone this far consuming mediocrity, might as well stick with it instead of switching to the better thing"

Shockzz1234

Manga readers can get spoiled on raw leaks, true, but it's FAR easier to not get spoiled by that than it is anything if you're anime only. I've been reading the manga for 10+ years and have never been spoiled on raw leaks despite being super active on social media.

Shockzz1234

One extra point for the manga that i don't think many have thought about - getting hype with everyone together. Stuff like the recent manga chapters or chapter 1000 ANY hype chapters or stretch of chapters etc, were super fun online because EVERYONE was losing their minds at the same time. Everyone was on the same page. Theories and discussions were insane. You don't really get that with the anime because loads of people have already seen the great stuff like 2 years ahead of them. Personally i say you switch to manga and just watch/react to hype moments or entire GOAT episodes (like 1015). It's what i do and what i've done for 10+ years now, you get everything positive while ditching everything negative (filler, padding, pacing issues, art and animation issues though that's become less of a problem during Wano, spoilers etc)

DonJoshi

Hey Khan. I am anime only and I have watched the anime with u since dressrosa. It would be sad if you would start the manga for me. Because then I would have to watch ur manga reactions to the anime episode. Normally I have the one piece episode on my screen and ur reacion to it on the other screen. By the looks of it manga will win sadly. All anime only reactors are switching to the manga. I tried to read the one piece manga. Manga just doesn´t entertain me the way anime does sadly

Mel

one break per month, we get a yearly material that becomes a material for 1.5 years of anime. What is your point?

Xiet

I'm anime only, but I'm also not affected by spoilers, only the pacing and fillers. When I consider how deeply they've affected you in the past, I'd have to vote for the manga, while still being okay with either. Having the reactions to one piece, even in manga form, is better than possibly not having them at all because of (God forbid) a random severe spoiler that could be out of your control

Smilee

For me personally , I'm enjoying the anime enough and i have lots of other stuff to watch so i don't need to read manga , maybe when i run out of animes to watch i'll consider manga.

Razyel22

Honestly at this point just read manga to get these annoying manga people to shut up. I read manga too, but holy shit some readers are just obnoxious.

Aizo-Sen

I'd rather watch the anime. BUT if you care about spoilers, you always gotta be caught up. So you should move on to manga.

Abdel

You will get spoiled, read the manga bro. No more waiting for a week for a filler ep. The pace is great, you'll be far a head in the story (no spoiler no more). You'll enjoy the manga

Danny D. Legend

You can still get spoiled reading the manga imagine switching to the manga and still getting spoiled you'd be full of regret and you only get one 1st experience

williamson

Khan does everything to keep himself from getting spoiled. The reason why he got spoiled this time was really unlucky and doubt he would ever get spoiled again if he keeps using the same system since the time in between the manga spoilers and chapter release is really short.

Brother E

It makes most sense to switch to manga, even Khan himself admits it will eventually happen. I personally believe let Khan finish Roof Piece (Ch 1010) and after that’s animated is when Khan should permanently jump to manga. The story is gonna keep getting even bigger and bigger as we approach the end of the series. Plus who knows what is gonna happen by the end of Wano, there’ll definitely be juicy stuff. So it would be best for all if Khan caught up by then. Nonetheless Khan can still react to the One Piece anime as well. Nothing wrong with having your One Piece cake and eating it too 🤷‍♂️

Matt

I agree with the comment, but you shouldn't of given the chapter that roof piece ends. That's a spoiler bro

Samsara

People backseating reactions might be the dumbest thing I had to read this month.

GS

Even if you switch to manga, episodes like 1015 will still be hype on their own. I think it's worth it.

rokitup

Yeah even manga readers got spoiled so I think that spoiler is a unique case

rokitup

He's asking for our opinion you dolt, it's what the comment section is for stfu

GS

He'll lose some, but gain others. It'll balance out in the end. Lots of manga only readers know of Khan. They'll be ready to hop in and hear Khan's theories whenever he decides to switch to manga and be all caught up.

Mel

Khan does not give a damn about the audience size, him enjoying one piece comes first to him

Zanarkand

How many times are we seeing something like 1015? The anime in Wano has been nothing but amazing to me but went back to their old Toei way's after Oden's flashback. You can read manga, watch anime and still get a buzz out of the anime.

Griffith

Khan doesn't care about money

Griffith

what spolier was it?

Andrew

It's not quite the same watching you read the manga, as it is to be able to watch the episode with you. I always like being able to go back and just chill and watch one piece with Khan while I'm working or studying. I

King Premo

I respect whichever decision but all the manga readers saying you still enjoy the anime the same are a joke, literally. There's nothing like the feeling of being completely off guard when something happens in the anime. You might still enjoy it but no where near the same level. I'm similar in that I read manga and watch anime but one piece was one I stayed off of

Prollyy

you're acting as if all there is to any medium, is the surprise of something new, and everything surrounding it is irrelevant.

King Premo

Where did I say or give off the impression that anything but a surprise is irrelevant? If that were the case why would i write that i read manga as well and respect either decision? Everyone has their own preferences and things that they enjoy. I'm speaking from my own personal opinion and experiences that reading Manga takes away from the anime experience depending on the anime. One piece falls under that category for me.

Aslan D'arville

Fam the anime does not do the source material justice like the manga does 90% of the time. Episodes like 1015 are really rare and probably happen every 20 or so episodes which is about 5 months. And having to dodge spoilers left and right could be such a drag fam i know because ive been anime only aswell and since i changed to manga its probably the best choice i ever made because its just as good and you could still enjoy hype animations like 1015 when they are animated. I'd hate for you to get spoiled any more than you already have. I'll stick to whatever decision you make tho. cheers

Hansi

Do you think the anime is better or the manga?

Hansi

That's not true. I'm anime only and I like the anime more

Hissatsu

wano arc is better in anime, but other than that manga is better

Hansi

The manga is 15 months ahead, not 24 @turza

Hansi

Bro there are more 2 week breaks than only waiting one week in the manga. I prefer only waiting one week for the episode and get 2/3 of a chapter. That's fine for me. In the end the anime is exactly as fast as the manga, the manga will always be around 15 months ahead

Hansi

And if you all want to compare the anime with the manga, you have to compare 3 episodes with 2 chapters. In December 2020 + january 2021 only 4 chapters came out, 2 per month! How can a weekly running anime cover these without adding extra scenes? These chapters were 998 to 1001 and these were covered with ep 1012-1016. So what the manga did in 8 weeks, the anime delivered it in 5 weeks. And now say again that the anime is too slow

williamson

Cant say what it was since id be spoiling people but its the content of chapter 1045

Lulu

I think you should switch to the manga at some point before the series ends because getting spoiled on the One Piece would be a tragedy. However, I don't think the time to swap is now. We're at one of the most exciting moments when it comes to fighting, it seems like a shame to swap when we could be getting some of the most visually satisfying episodes in the near future. IMO swap after this arc ends in the anime.

Aslan D'arville

this guy acts like you cant be caught offguard in the manga aswell xd no offense but toei shenanigans get really old bro. they are already screwing up pacing of these hype moments with where they place these fillers.

King Premo

Never said you can't be caught off guard buddy. I just believe there's others factors that make an off guard moment more enjoyable like having the right soundtrack along with the hype moments. The right soundtrack can even give some people chills but that's not everyone so youre free to disagree as much as youd like. I do agree the pacing is shit and toei tends to drop the ball from time to time but it's after 1000+ episodes so most should be use to it lol

Ray

If khan reads the manga there'll be no more chair throwing table breaking TV hype moments anime is easily the greatest way to consume the story and if you transition to manga it should be done after wano

007 Crypto

Please don't.. I'm gonna stop watching reactions forever then...

Oden

if i am gonna enjoy your reaction of one piece twice a week with anime and manga then am hella down

Lulu

Bet your dumbass is eating those words after 1017
