So I finally played a bit and the stuff I am putting down my thoughts here about what I want to do. Most are longterm projects.

1. Make craftables using prarie grass and other natural materials ( similar to garland making and banana leaf crafting)

2. Make food based Dinner at the ranch theme

3. Make Native American inspired food

4. Make hybrid 3 sisters plant which gives all three harvestables

5. Make BBQ/Grill food

6. Make some low cost/low effort simple food

7. Add meat curing/jerky options to Canning or Mill ( not decided)

8. I am debating keeping my nectar maker as it is with maybe just a name change because the one that came with the game only has 5 skills and very few recipes

9. Add hunting ( like sims medieval) and gathering wild berries, nuts etc etc

( though tbh I am really not sure I want to add hunting - maybe gathering will give you random meat ? Only Gathering lifestyle instead of hunting and gathering lol)

10. Add many more preserves and mill products ( I have so many things i want to do for these)

11. Continue with Hard Spirits distillery and definitely make Moonshine

12. I have a cool idea for a Barbie themed Ranch restaurant with fun dishes with fun names ( I really want to do this lol)

Will add to the list

Note : Lately I have been taking more time making the food because I have started making the meshes more complex and handpainting everything is naturally taking more time. hope you guys like that and dont want me to use game meshes and less handpainted textures. If you guys like it, it will all be worth the effort 🥰

Omg 1 2 3 5 6 7 9 and 11 have me 🥰

Rabellaka

I love the idea of a Three Sisters combination plant. I think the Sims team really missed the boat by not adding a corn harvestable. We already have beans and pumpkins in other packs. And corn is so important in many indigenous peoples across the Americas.

SIMKIA⚜️

Thank you soooo much. You are definately my fav.

Sims Storyteller

Love all of these ideas and especially appreciate the extra attention you’ve added to the meshes and textures! Much appreciated. I do prefer your nectar maker to the one that came with the pack as well 🤗

LadyCSims4Content

Please keep your nectar maker as it is 🙏🏾 for those who won’t buy the pack or if people prefer to use yours instead of the one coming with that pack. Thank you so much for your hard work.

Evs

So many great ideas!!! I truly love them all. Food is always such a huge part of my gameplay and all of these would add such depth. As far as I am concerned, if you need some extra time to keep giving us such beautiful work, please take it!!

Brittany

Ooooh! Love your creativity!! Different hand woven baskets baskets would be amazing!

Brittany

I had to complain to my non-Sims playing friend about the lack of corn harvestable in the new pack! So I'm glad I'm not alone in being annoyed by this oversight from EA haha

Brianna Loyd

I was honestly more excited about what creators like you would do with harvestables and recipes than for the pack itself, which I refuse to pay $40 for since its NOT enough content for an expansion pack price and Nearly EVERYTHING in it is repurposed crap from other packs (or sims 3 in the case of the horses) Now we'll see some REAL inclusion of indigenous culture in the food and gardens. <3

Dash3001

I really appreciate your meshes. They are more visually appealing and I would rather have the quality over quantity. Thank you for what you do.

GeorgiaMommyPeach

There is a lovely new-ish cookbook called Sioux Chef that might lend you inspiration if you created more Native American dishes. I would LOVE a whole menu dedicated to Native American cooking with the new BBQ, stovetops, ovens, and fire pits. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

GeorgiaMommyPeach

Pied Piper has a basket, etc. weaving mod that is pretty comprehensive. 🌞

TRENIA LANE

I love ALL of the ideas, but I'm most excited about "gathering" meat, LOL & the Ranch & Indian inspired meals!!

Renee

Omgob, Native American/Indigenous cuisine & JERKY!! You're talking dirty to my pixelated palette. Love all these project ideas!!

Puking king

I love all of them. I would like for you to keep your nectar the way it is except for one thing - I cannot display them because my Sims clean them up like they do dishes.

DAVID EVANS

We like it! Esp the Moonshine idea! All amazing - thank you.

Welcome!

Love the Native American Idea, that'll be great

Amy Coleman

LOVE #11 & #12! Would love to see some fun moonshine moodlets lol

Mendota Kelly

Please keep your nectar maker. Just like with your candles, I like the options that you provide. You can call your drinks fruit liquor.

Miss Faye

What about changing the name of your nectar maker to fruit cordial maker?

Fla$h!ngLight$

The main reason I became a Pateron was because of the variety of food to recipes you make. I would LOVE Native American Food.

Jeanna Hicks

I would love to see Native American food as well!

Wendy Hubble

Your food is wonderful and unique. It's a must in my game. I am also glad to hear you are thinking about keeping the nectar maker. And I think moonshine would be AWESOME

Jaime Stuller

I love this! I definitely would like more Native American food. Maybe some that doesn’t need to be cooked on the grill. Like frybread tacos!

Robyn

All of these ideas sound AMAZING! Love all that you do!! Thank you so much!!

Emma Lee

pleaseeeeeee keep your nectar maker

Emma Lee

also they all sound amazing, love your work

Tammy Furguson

sounds fabulous. cant wait to see and use your amazing work

Amysea93

It looks like they had started to consider #1 with the basket weaving deco they added with the expansion pack but I think they abandoned it, I personally would love if you added that with the Prairie Grass weaving. I also love the idea of curing meats and making jerky!! Always up for more ways for my sims to get inebriated and moonshine would be a great way! The food ideas sound lovely as well!

Hannah Burdorf

Your mods are my favorite and I cannot play without them. I appreciate the level of detail that each of your recipes, harvestables, etc. have and appreciate your ingenuity. Can't wait to see all of these things that you have on your list as they come out!

Katie Hernandez

I would love the weaving and the hunting!!!❤️

Kae R

Horse themed cupcakes, cookies, or a cake would be super cute!

I got this notification and chewed on it awhile wondering whether or not I should comment. Alas, here I am. I come here as a hunter hoping to appeal to your sense of inclusion and connection. When you mentioned removing 'hunting' and changing it to 'gathering meat' it left a sour taste in my mouth. The majority of people around the world are meat eaters. Problem there lies in the disconnection from our food. No one (except farmers and ranchers) in modern times has to hunt or cull their own herds as in days of old for their sustenance, but the animals are STILL dying as a result of our meat consumption, they're just presented in plastic packages all clean and clinical so as not to offend the buyer. I'm a Permaculturist (extreme gardening with the inclusion of animals) and a hunter. Hunting fed my family many a winter we were snowed in as a kid and as an adult I understand the disconnect we have with out food. It's what originally brought me to you, your seeds that allowed me to grow my Food Forest in Sims4, that deeper connection even in digital form made my game better. I've been told I'm cruel for being a hunter, but what I find to be more cruel is to be ignorant of how the meat shows up on your plate every night without a thought otherwise. Just the thought of omitting the word (not sure your reasons for entertaining the idea) lends to the disconnect to our food and where it comes from. No one goes to the wood to 'gather meat', they hunt it and sometimes if they aren't' successful, they go to bed hungry. This happens all over the world. Please, reconsider shielding players from the Truth of where their food comes from, even if it is a subliminal digital attempt at keeping the connection present. Hunters are not bad people, not is hunting a bad thing that needs to be tucked away like some old family secret. Thank you for reading this, off to plant some more Food Forests in game!

icemunmun

Thank you for giving me this perspective. Much appreciated. I have already added two separate interactions! 1. Hunting ( for meat) 2. Gatheting for misc stuff and seeds and berries. It will be a rabbithole interaction for now but will expand on it further.

Galactam Page of space

For the nectar maker, maybe we can have an option to integrate your creations into the machine that comes with the DLC? like your jams, which can be made in any oven.

icemunmun

I was just starting to make frybread tacos!

icemunmun

Either Fruit Cordial or Fruit liquer

icemunmun

Hmm..let me see if i can do anything

icemunmun

I have basket making incorporated in my banana leaf crafting and I will definitely do something with more details!

icemunmun

Yep...I plan to do something like that

Drella

Please do native American style food 🙏

Mystic Topaz Rings

I like the idea of hunting and gathering. Maybe you can make it be a similar portal to the Magic Beans Tree?

icemunmun

I want to do something similar to Sims Medieval!

Shotgun Betty Gaming

Thank you so much for being open minded on the matter. I know it may seem strange to some folks how I feel, but I appreciate your consideration and look forward to the new content!

Dreamlander Sims

I second this. Compatibility between the existing nectar system/storage bins would be pretty cool.

Shannon Criswell

As others have stated, the hunting could be a (lol) rabbit hole, but the gathering gives occasional meat sounds interesting. "I was picking berries and accidentally stepped on a rabbit."

Mystic Topaz Rings

That's why I suggested using a portal tree that sends your sim into rabbit hole.

icemunmun

True! I acrually looked at parts of the tree to get started on this!

Barbie sim

I just noticed how limited the amount of fruit nectar we can make is on the horse ranch nectar machine is- it would be great if you can implement more fruits and veggies we can make on it and store to age OR use your machine we can store and age nectar to sell so we have more variety

icemunmun

I do plan to integrate them to some degree...at the very leaset add more options to the ranch nectar

Boum

Hello. I really like your ideas. A think I would have like to see with the Native American elements that have came to the Sims 4 is medicinal herbs and tea that are traditional to their culture. One of the best things they teach to us, now, in North America.

Diana-Marie

I LOVE these ideas. Maybe an agave, barrel cactus, or prickly pear harvestable or something? Agave for your distillery and prickly pear for both the pears and the pads (called nopales here in California). The Barrel cactus could be recolored from the pink flowered barrel cactus to little yellow pineapple-shaped fruits. Also cholla, which is a super nasty cactus to try to harvest. Thank you for everything. I really appreciate your hard work and creative mind!

Emily Henson

soooo exciting im sure everything will turn out incredible as always!!! thank you so much!

Aelan Ryland

I LOVE the extra time and effort thank you!

Sandy Dunkle

Thank you for all your creative ideas that add such depth to the gameplay. I would really like to see more off the grid recipes for Decades Challenge/Rags to Riches type games. Thanks!

MizzBellaKitty

Hunting and gathering would be so much fun!

Jo Mason

Sorry if someone has already said this, but wonder if you could update dairy cow/dairy cowplant to use prairie grass hay (in addition to the "hay" in the original files) as food

Jwingrider

Just impatiently waiting for this integration 🤪
