The big pile of towels was not actually that big! It was only just 5 inches high. Sorry to lie but it was necessary to amuse you.

Having a Calming Zone has been great for my 5 year old son when's struggling with big emotions. It lowers over-stimulation during a meltdown to be alone in a quiet, soft area. But then again, it's making his marriage fall apart too 😩😂

I think everyone should have an option for a Comfort Zone. Having said that, a pile of towels is NOT appropriate for each person for a number of reasons. We need to open the aperture in terms of what can qualify as CZs, and our local governments should create funds to help each person create the CZ most appropriate for their stages in life. I believe this would bring world peace and harmony
