*Regular end of year stuff. Next year is the Year of the Snake, so need to make a Nengajō (New Year's card) for that

*Found super cheap tickets to Hokkaido so going to spend a couple days over Christmas with Julyan and Kaho and I really want to make it feel like Christmas, since Kaho-chan's never had one and it's been a very long time since Julyan has. I want to start planning that all out (stockings with stocking stuffers, gifts that are actually wrapped, and yummy food).

*Plus (!!) another potential and likely project that (again) I can't wait to share with you all. Hopefully, soon 🤞

All that aside, I'm here to say I didn't even have a minute to write a blog post yesterday, BUT~ because I'm officially in "in a tizzy" mode and need to chill out, I'm dragging Richard up a mountain tomorrow or the day after (no, he doesn't know about it yet) to see an old shrine that has a golden torii gate! The photo above is of the gate. No, I don't think I'll be able to take such a good picture, but I will take a lot and I'll get all the details to share here. It's something like a two to three-hour hike up the mountain and again back down. I'm really hoping we're (me) up to it! At least the weather is cold. I've been wanting to do the hike for months, but summer is much to horrible, so kept putting it off.

Postcards are going out tomorrow 🏣, the new episode should also be out tomorrow (It's about Turbo Granny, a really silly urban legend and some other equally fleet-footed old women), and I have a recipe to write up and post, too. But I'll need to find some time for that as well.

Can you believe it's already the end of the year? Stay well and safe and, OH! did I tell you, it's a tengu mountain we'll be climbing!! ✨👺⛰️✨ I'm so excited!!!
