I'm popping in to get another chapter of An English Girl in Japan up, Chapter 4 is about her visit to Karuizawa and her harrowing experience in an onsen. Quite funny♨️.

I'll get another one read soon and up early in August, and if I play cards right a new folktale mid August, something brand new from my collection of folklore books.

The podcast itself will only be once this month. Would you believe there are things going on in the background that are making it impossible to get a second one up in July? Nothing bad, just *eegads* for the moment. I have a couple news-es to tell you, but nothing's finalized yet, so I have to bite my tongue. As soon as a couple emails come in, I'll be able to spill the proverbial beans. Only to you all though.

So, I've made it my goal to watch every sunset before the little subdivision goes up behind us. Yesterday was pure soul-thrumming joy. The sliver of moon was magical and there were dozens of bats flittering about. I think I've noticed the hunt insects by flying (chaotically) in a clockwise circle.
