Just a quick update:

Early last week I sent out envelopes, so they should be arriving soon. Included in the packages are magic beans for chasing away oni-ogres and all bad luck. They're delicious, too, so eat away!

I literally just finished postcards for January and will write notes on them tonight and send them out tomorrow. This morning I recorded the Bedtime Story. Next, I need to edit it, and send it to Julyan to do the music bed. Fingers crossed that I'll be able to put it up here before the end of this coming week.

The thing I'm still working on, however, is the podcast. It's coming along. I'm hoping to record early this week and get it out mid to late next week.

Wew.

I feel somewhat on the ball. Mostly I want to get caught up so I can slow down and work on some shows I want to research and do, as well as go visit some cool, local, nana fushigi places and talk about those. There are also recipes I want make and post, too.

And finally (photo), I wanted to share my John Malkovich door. It's on the side of the house and quite small. I'd have to stoop to go inside. But I can't go inside because I think this old house has been shaken by so many various earthquakes throughout the years, that the door is wedged shut. I'm very curious, though, what's inside. Or why it was even built. I've got some sleuthing to do.

Oh, I just scrolled up to see the photo again, and I noticed my little civet friend has been climbing this side of the house, too. I still haven't met him, yet. I'm guessing he'll show up once I decide to plant some vegetables.

XO,

terrie

Keep us updated about what you find on the other side of that tiny door ^.^

Looks like you either have to complete a number of sidequests to unlock that door, or at one point in the story a priest will show up and say "It's time."

Tiny doors are the best! We have quite a few at work (I work on the Underground in London) and we are always being asked what it behind them! Some of them lead nowhere, but I know of a few that actually lead you under the track! Let us know what is behind the magic door!

That is so cool! I reminds me of Neil Gaiman's fascination with 'mind the gap!'. It sounds like you have a lot of story material at work. How fun!
