So I tested the waters last week and sent some postcards to a few countries that were on the Okay List. Sadly, North America, Australia and New Zealand and Ireland are still no-gos, it seems. I understand but, grrrr...

I just wanted everyone to know I'm still making postcards and picking up goodies. I'm thinking of putting together little boxes and including all these back month (since April in most cases) envelope fodder in one place.

As proof you are all always in my thoughts, I was doing my weekly run to a local supermarket and saw a lady putting out these My Bags (what are they called in other countries?), the shopping bag you bring with you to use over and over instead of collecting plastic bags. Anyway, I stopped her and asked if I could have enough for my Tengu and Oni patrons (because I didn't want to buy the rack and not let other customers have a chance to get one), she said Of course! and counted them out for me. I thought they were super cute and so very... JAPAN! Lightweight and foldable so will easily fit inside a box, too!

So cute! We call them "bags for life" in the UK! They have surged in popularity since the government made shops charge for plastic bags!

We just call them reusable shopping bags in my part of the US. Can’t wait ‘til you’re able to mail out goodies again. It’ll be like Christmas (though I hope they’ll arrive before December)!
