Bedtime Story: Mitsume Kozou / 三つ目小僧 / The Three-Eyed Boy (Patreon)

I mention it before I read the story, but I was browsing all the folklore books and had several stories marked as potential ones to read this month. Then I read this one. In the first couple paragraphs there was mention of a misemono, a ningyo/mermaid, AND a three-eyed boy!

I decided now matter how it ended, I was going to read it.

縁がある / En ga aru / It was fate!

Luckily, it was a fun read. Scary story next month, I promise.

Oh, and that artwork up there, about that. Richard is working on another idea for a podcast and he's been messing around with ai generated art. Then I got the bug and fell hard. I've been making loads of prompt generated ai art (?). The prompt for that piece was "Japanese Three-Eyed Boy", I believe.

The latest episode of Uncanny is coming real soon. It's long. Things got weird. It had actually been recorded weeks ago. Just Life Stuff tripped up everything. Not fun.

Anyway, working on lots of stuff, so I'll be talking to you again real soon.

Stay safe and take care, XO,

terrie
