holy shit, I start a Panic At The Dojo game(Fighting Game TTRPG) and I neede super move cut cuts. Lo and behold, here we are!

WarpSpeedNyanCat's isometric workshop

Im running a wuxia fantasy game in pf2e , you can bet im adding this to my module list, i was actually planning to make a module like that but looks like i wont need to, if you need help maintaining this module hit me up! i would help gladly.

The Glitch Smith

Wow, a Wuxia setting in PF2e sounds absolutely perfect for this style! 🥋 Thank you so much for the kind offer to help maintain it. Right now, I prefer to manage the development solo to keep the architecture and code style consistent. However, the best way you can help is by using the module and reporting any bugs or edge cases you find! I'd love to hear how it works out in your Wuxia campaign.

WarpSpeedNyanCat's isometric workshop

fair enough , im helping Arlosmolten with his isometric perspective module, im still in the process of learning foundry modding hence why i offered to help, but i totally get why you want to keep the codebase clean hehehe , seriously tho i will give it a try and give you feedback. great work!

WarpSpeedNyanCat's isometric workshop

oh hey , other question, does this support webm images? say , im a guy who make animated characters with spine 2d , you think if i made animated portraits it would work with that?

This module is great! The only gripe I have is that you cannot set more than one preset per item, meaning you can't set both "Attack" and "Crit" animations, which I'd like to be able to do.

silverdragon

I've been trying out the mod, and it's great. I've noticed that while it can randomly select and display images, it only supports a single line of text. My players have mentioned that seeing the same line of text repeatedly can get a little bit repetitive. It would be a perfect improvement if you could add support for a list of multiple text lines that could be randomly selected and displayed.

The Glitch Smith

That is a fantastic suggestion! You are right, seeing the same quote over and over can kill the immersion. I currently support random images, so supporting random text lines makes perfect sense. I will add a "Random Text Pool" feature in a future update so you can list multiple quotes for the module to pick from. Thanks for the idea!

The Glitch Smith

That is a very valid request! Being able to set different animations for "Attack" vs "Critical" (or other triggers) on the same item would definitely add more depth. Technically, it is just a matter of separating the trigger logic in the configuration. I will add this to my improvement list and work on implementing multiple trigger support in a future update!

The Glitch Smith

Yes, absolutely! Since Foundry VTT natively supports .webm files, they should work perfectly within the cut-in frame. Animated portraits created with Spine 2D would look amazing. Please give it a try and let me know how it looks!

Here's another idea: Currently, the character list UI loads all actors at once. When I play Pathfinder 2e, I sometimes buy adventure path modules. After importing them, I can have several hundred NPC actors, which causes the UI to lag a bit. I would recommend adding a filter to differentiate between basic Player Characters and NPCs. Additionally, to optimize performance, you could set a maximum number of actors to load at one time, perhaps 100 per page? This would essentially be a form of pagination. I think it's rare for a user to scroll through a list of hundreds of actors to find the one they need, instead of just using the search function.

IloveDnD69

This is amazing! Will 100% add this immediately. One suggestion I'd love to see, could you add HSR-like theme for Follow-up attacks? A little small popup on the side?

The Glitch Smith

Thank you so much for the feedback! To be honest, I haven't played HSR myself, so I'm not 100% sure of the exact style you're referring to. However, the new 'Blitz' theme (which adds cut-ins to the side of the screen) might be exactly what you're looking for! If that’s not quite it, or if you have a specific visual in mind, I'd love to see a reference image or video. Please feel free to suggest it on my Discord server! (Note: You can access the Discord by linking your account to Patreon. If you have already linked it but haven't received access, please try unlinking and re-linking your Discord account in your Patreon settings to refresh the connection!)

IloveDnD69

That is all right, Blitz works very closely and I already updated to use it. But, the follow-up pop-up is like here (https://youtu.be/BjZZxeHXJck?si=Jdfge9N7YfLIj-iX). It's a small triangle that appears on the right center for a bit. For Tabletop duration should probably be longer but yeah. Thank you so much nonetheless!

Caio Damasio

Hi! I was wondering if all of your modules are compatible with Foundry VTT v13?

The Glitch Smith

Absolutely. All of my modules are already fully compatible with Foundry VTT v13.

Arthur Vianini

Hi! I'm trying to use it's sound config, but when it triggers, i can't listen to the sfx added to the config :(

The Glitch Smith

Hi! I have confirmed that the sound features are working correctly in my environment, so this might be an issue specific to your setup. Please try the following steps: 1. Update Check: Ensure you are using the latest version of the module. 2. Restart: If you are on the latest version, try restarting your FVTT client. 3. Volume: Check your audio settings to ensure the volume is not muted or too low. 4. Console Log: If the issue persists, press F12 to open the developer console. Trigger the sound and check the Console tab for any red error messages. 5. Report: ●If errors appear: Please share a screenshot of the error. ●If no errors appear: I will need the following details: FVTT Version, Game System, and System Version. For faster support and issue resolution, I highly recommend joining the official Discord: ●Option 1 (Recommended): Link your Discord account to Patreon. This will automatically assign you the Supporter role and grant full access. ●Option 2: Use this direct link: https://discord.gg/gNrhdvhVNF (You will have access to the main support channel, but the Supporter role will not be assigned automatically).
