[Early Access] ποΈ Stylish Shop v1.0.0: Themed Shop Encounters (Patreon)
Content
Stylish Shop replaces Foundry's default item-list interface with full-screen, themed shop encounters. Pick a visual style, set up an NPC clerk, drop in items, and run trades that fit your setting.
How to Use
GMs configure a shop from the actor sheet header or by right-clicking the shopkeeper token and pressing Shop Settings in the Token HUD. Players open the shop by selecting or controlling their character token, standing within range of a configured shop NPC, and pressing G. The interact key is editable in Foundry's keybinding settings.
π¨ Eight Distinct Shop Themes
Two layout families, four themes each.
Character layouts (cinematic, clerk on stage): Default, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Smithy.
Grid layouts (catalog-dense): Default, Terminal, Fantasy, Guild.
Each theme rebuilds typography, frames, colors, and motion. The smithy looks nothing like the cyberpunk broker.
ποΈ Cinematic Shop Encounters
Full-Screen Modal: Browse, focus, and confirm purchases inside a dedicated overlay sized to your table.
NPC Clerk on Stage: Character layouts pull your shopkeeper into frame with custom art, accent color, and a speech bubble.
Open with the Interact Key: Players select or control their character token, stand near a shop NPC, and press G to open the shop prompt.
π Per-Shop Customization
Identity Editor: Configure the shop name, subtitle, owner, slogan, NPC art, speech bubble, accent color, and every theme label individually per shop.
Live Theme Preview: Watch labels, colors, NPC art, and speech bubbles update in real time without closing the editor.
Pre-Filled Defaults: New shops are created with theme-appropriate placeholder identity and four starter categories (Weapons, Armor, Consumables, Misc) so the editor never opens blank.
πͺ Trading Built In
Buy, Sell, Buyback: Configurable sell rate (default 50%) with per-item overrides. Sold items can be re-listed for buyback. Choose unlimited or finite-fund merchants.
Atomic GM-Mediated Transactions: Currency, items, and stock are committed together with strict rollback. No half-finished trades.
Stock & Discount: Optional per-item stock limits with "Out of Stock" display. Shop-wide price multiplier plus per-item discount badges.
Drag & Drop: GMs drag items from compendiums, world inventory, or actor sheets directly into shop categories.
π Per-Shop Audio
Background Music: Looping BGM with fade in/out, configured per shop via FilePicker. Foundry's scene music quiets automatically while a shop is open and restores on close.
Interaction Sound Effects: Five customizable SFX slots (open, menu select, page transition, purchase complete, error). Picked through FilePicker, configured per shop.
π οΈ System Support
Price and coin automation built in for D&D 5e, Pathfinder 2e, Pathfinder 1e, Starfinder 2e, and Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4e. Daggerheart supports manual-price purchases against actor gold fields.
Currency itself is defined through the GlitchSmith Library currency dialog, which supports single or multi-denomination setups, sheet coins, virtual currencies, or any mix. Any system can run a shop, with or without a native economy.
