ποΈ Stylish Shop v2.0.0: On-Screen Editor, Shop Management Overhaul & Stock Automation (Patreon)
Content
v2.0.0 adds an editor directly on the shop screen and rebuilds Shop Settings around searchable sections and draft editing. Shops can also restock on the game calendar, rotate their Stock Pool selections, and share configurations through presets and shop copies.
π¨ Decorate the Shop on Screen
Click Decorate shop in Shop Settings to edit the storefront while looking at it.
Select text to change it in the panel, or double-click to type directly on screen. Drag and resize the shopkeeper and speech bubble, and adjust backgrounds, colors, and fonts in the same editor.
Right-click or use Overlapping elements to choose an element covered by another. Scanlines and other full-screen effects no longer intercept text selection.
The Screen selector opens product details and a purchase confirmation for the selected shop product. These are previews and do not make a transaction.
Undo, redo, and preview are available. Decoration changes stay in the settings draft until applied.
πΌοΈ Custom Shop and NPC Backgrounds
A shop can replace its theme background with an image and place a separate image behind the NPC.
Each layer has its own image fitting, position, scale, and opacity controls with live preview.
Clearing the image restores the theme background. Both layers are included in appearance presets and shop copies.
πͺ Background Display Modes
Shop backgrounds have five display modes, available in Shop Settings and the decoration panel.
Keep the theme's original surrounding design, use a blurred background with 0-60 px blur, choose a solid color, or repeat the image. These four modes keep the main background aligned with the shop layout.
Stretch to window shows the entire image without margins by changing its proportions to fit the window. Switching back restores the previous fit, position, and scale settings.
βοΈ Redesigned Shop Settings
Shop Settings now uses the global settings color scheme, six sections organized by task, and a save bar that stays visible while scrolling.
Search covers the entire configuration and opens the matching field, including fields inside collapsed sections.
Appearance fields stay open for customization. Shortcuts lead to theme and color, screen text, backgrounds, shopkeeper, and fonts.
The storefront preview opens on request in a movable window.
π§Ί Catalog Editing
Product rows keep name, price, and stock in view, with other fields in each row's details.
Product search, stock filters, and multiple selection help locate and remove catalog entries. Restocking controls sit in a collapsible section above the list.
Folder and compendium imports open a searchable list with type filtering and individual selection.
πΎ Drafts and Saving
Settings changes stay in a draft, including category and product additions, removals, sorting, and edits in child dialogs.
Apply saves and keeps the editor open. Save & close finishes editing, and closing a changed draft asks before discarding it.
Purchases and scheduled stock changes are merged when the draft is saved. An older settings window preserves newer stock, generated prices, and scheduled product selections.
Restock All works on the saved catalog without saving unrelated draft changes. Simultaneous settings edits and stock operations are processed in order for each shop.
ποΈ Calendar-Scheduled Restocking
Set a shop to run Restock All every chosen number of in-game days at a specified hour and minute. Shop Settings shows the next run using the active world-time or calendar source.
Automatic runs refill stock and refresh generated price variance. Product selections stay the same unless Stock Pool rotation is enabled.
Only the active GM runs the schedule. If several intervals pass while no GM is present, the shop catches up once when a GM returns.
Changing the calendar source pauses the schedule until the shop is saved against the new calendar.
π² Scheduled Stock Pool Rotation
Automatic restocking can also draw a new full product list for each category with a configured Stock Pool.
Draws follow the pool's weights, exclusions, item-count range, and stock range.
Empty or unreadable pools keep the category's existing products. Missed dates produce one replacement on the next GM session.
ποΈ Shop Presets and Settings Copying
The Presets button saves a named configuration for reuse in the same world. The same dialog can copy selected settings directly from another configured shop.
Choose any of six groups: appearance, audio, economy rules, category structure without items, categories with their full catalog, and relationship ranks.
The destination keeps its name, owner, NPC and directory artwork, running sale, personal discounts, gift rewards, and player progress.
Saving a preset uses the current draft, including unsaved edits. Applying selected groups preserves unrelated draft changes.
πͺ Shop Duplication
The Presets dialog can also duplicate the shop into a new Actor, using the current draft's settings and catalog.
The copy starts without unlock progress, recorded spending, or claimed gifts. Duplicating an Actor from Foundry's sidebar does not clear this shop progress.
Automatic-restock settings are copied in a disabled state, with scheduling history cleared so the new shop does not inherit the source's next run.
π Faster Purchase Quantities
Purchase confirmations now accept a typed quantity and include +5, +10, and MAX buttons.
MAX checks the selected payment source, stock, and required items, within the existing 99-unit order limit.
Hold Shift with the plus/minus buttons to change quantity by 5, or Ctrl/Cmd to change it by 10.
π§Ή Sold-Out Item Cleanup
An optional shop setting removes a product when its last copy is purchased. Saving with the setting enabled also clears existing zero-stock products.
Unlimited stock and source Items are kept.
Removed products can be added again or drawn from a Stock Pool, including scheduled rotation. Ordinary restocking only refills products that remain in the catalog.
π§ GlitchSmith Menu Shop Browser
World Actor shops now appear in GlitchSmith Library's shared menu. GMs and players can browse or search shops visible to them, see artwork, owner text, and item counts, and open a shop through the existing buyer-selection flow.
Bug Fixes
Custom item quantities: Item Quantity Path can be configured per game system. Purchases, sales, stacking, and material requirements can use paths such as system.count instead of assuming system.quantity.
Import and Stock Pool order: Folder imports and saved Stock Pools now follow the sidebar's alphabetical or manual order. Included subfolders come before the parent folder's loose items, and compendium sources follow the pack's own sorting mode.
Stock Pool input focus: Editing quantities and weights preserves input focus and scroll position.
Finite-shop payments: Shops with infinite funds disabled receive the exact net sale value after conversion. Buyers can pay with a larger coin even when the shop starts empty or lacks the denominations used for change. If the buyer and shop share an Actor or bank wallet, its balance stays unchanged.
Currency rules: Payment, change, price display, and sell modifiers respect decimal exchange rates, configured increments, and non-standard denomination sets. Library currencies retain their integer or decimal rules and precision; a sheet currency takes priority if a virtual currency uses the same ID. An amount that cannot be represented exactly is rejected before either wallet changes.
Transaction recovery: If a currency write fails partway through a transaction, previous deductions, change, and shop proceeds are restored. A Smartphone bank history error after a completed purchase no longer invalidates the purchase.
Category save recovery: If deleting a custom catalog category fails to save the world setting, affected shops regain their previous category mappings.
Multiple-GM selling: Player sell requests are handled by one active GM, preventing duplicate sales when several GMs are connected.
