Hey Peaches! We're being good good content boys and jumping on a show that has taken off! Y'all kept telling us Shogun was awesome, and you were right. We were clearly not ready for how awesome it was.

There is a Hulu without ads 👍

Ooh, Shogun! I’ve been meaning to watch this 😅

CSL

Finish. One Piece.

I’m glad that you’re reacting to this but for Pete’s sake, you’re making a few bucks with these reactions, invest two or three of them in ad-free streaming!

The shaved head style the Samurai adopt is called a Chonmage. The reason for it is personal preference. You would shave the head so that your helmet would sit with more stability on your head and also to keep the head cool when wearing the helmet. Some men either preferred the style or needed to shave their head to be more comfortable.

Same! After watching this one for the first time along with cha bois, I can't decide if I can stand to wait for the rest of the watchalongs or if I need to just binge-catchup.

I have D+ and Hulu w/ ads. I watched via Disney + and did not get any ads. That might work.

Not to make it worse, but apparently babies were not considered wholly human yet and were still thought to be partially of the spirit world during parts of Japan's history. So things like this happened more often than you'd think. I get my info from Linfamy's youtube channel btw, which is all about historical Japanese culture.

Jerome Engel

for those watching on Disney plus, the timecode is -9 seconds

Rime Pendragon

Why would you watch this with ads ? Maybe do a bit of research ? Plenty of reactors watch it without ads.

Great Show So far, but the ads are a problem.. Just get a VPN and watch it on Disney+ Xmen97 is better though :)
