Hey Peaches! We were all set for another fun Bluey episode, until we ran into one of the episodes that people really wanted us to react to, Copycat. And oh boy did that change the direction of this video. This one is a roller coaster.

Love the epiphany at 23:06. Exactly. Whole new way of understanding "copy cat." And why it's so ironic at the end when Bandit says, "You stopped copying me." And Bluey breaks the fourth wall to ask our opinion.

49:30 ... When Indy is explaining how the "early baby" game works to Bluey and Honey, she says: "Just like my sister." So, like Bluey with the budgie, she's working out trauma through play.

Trust me, kids always hear and notice much more than adults think they do.

So sorry about your cat Adam. People don't realize how big a part of the family pets are, so when one passes away, it's the same as losing any family member.

I was trying to think about the copycat episode and I think what it’s showing is that there were 2 scenarios and both ended in a way that Bluey couldn’t control or didn’t influence, choose or want. Because she was copying dad by replaying the whole thing over, she needed it to happen the same way. But when Bingo came out and it didn’t happen the way she wanted, she accepted it. So she learned to accept things you can’t control, things won’t always happen how we want but we have to be okay with that. I empathize a lot with you Adam, I am really bad at handling morbidity and especially when it hits close to home. When the bird passed away in the episode my immediate thought was of my old pooch and knowing someday (hopefully not too soon but you always worry) I’m going to be having that same talk with a vet. Pets are such a special thing and we’re so lucky to get to be apart of their lives

Aw man, so Adam’s crying was about Peaches. I had a feeling. We love you, Adam!

These reactions are making me realise how much of what is normal for me (australian) in Bluey isn't for other countries. There are so many things people find different/wierd or miss. I saw the school and just went 'water play area' at the creek/pond installation in the garden. So... apparently water play isn't a part of schooling in the USA. My school just had an actual creek or brought out those 'shell pools' but nicer school I worked had some kind of water area (always very shallow to limit drowning risk).

Sending you lots of love, Adam. That’s a hurt on your heart that hurts for a long time and sneaks up on you like that sometimes ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Claire Deeley

Oh Adam, my heart goes out to you. You were expecting Dad feels and weren't prepared for the sucker punch of pet feels. I'm glad you made the choice to edit out what you did. Some feelings are just for ourselves ❤️

Sherrice Marie Mojgani

Barky Boats is Season 2 Episode 38, the water play area is featured then

The hole pets leave in our hearts when we have to say goodbye just...hurts. It hurts something awful. Peaches was a special soul. I'm glad you found each other. One kind soul deserves another, and I know you loved each other fiercely. I'm sorry you did not get more time with him. Hugs, friend.

Oh wow Copycat… man this show does not pull its punches 😭 Just a kids show my arse.

Boy I picked a heck of a video to do the watchalong with instead of the YT cut. <3

Alex Boynton

I’m so sorry about your cat. I had a dog where something similar happened. it was so sudden and it emotionally scarred my mom. Givin u lots of hugs Adam!

Scope

It's way more than that.
