Hey Peaches! We had planned to watch Dune Part 2 for the first time soon, so we figured we should watch Part 1 again to remind ourselves of what's going on. So we sat down to watch Part 1 and then something happened. We both LOCKED IN! Like we got a hit of Spice and could see the infinite space ways. We just 'got it'. So grab your Freman suits and don't waste any of your water as to journey to Arrakis.

Any one else having issues with sunching? im watching it on HBO and it keeps feeling like the guys are 5 seconds faster than me, not mater how many time i pause or re synch

I’m having a similar issue. It seems like their version is playing noticeably faster than mine on Apple

I tried hbo and even renting on Amazon same issue. Dune 2 is synching up fine

yes they seem to be slightly faster than they should be i watched hbo via amazon, video will not stay synced

I've noticed that with a number of the Watch-a-long's. Usually a five to ten second discrepancy.

I believe the video is playing 0.1 or 0.2 faster than it should be do every time you sync it doesnt take long for it to be out of sync again

It also doesn't help that HBO Max's timer includes what ever trailers they have as well as the HBO presents before the movie actually starts.

Maybe a framerate issue? Tho that wouldn't make sense if it happened for only some videos. Like if you record ate 24fps and put that in a 30fps file, depending on the software, that can affect the video speed.

Ok yeah, just looking at the timer, it seems to not be faster. Not sure what happened there.

Just a heads up the reactions cuts off before the movie ends and I think this is a streaming issue but it seems like some copys are faster than the one you watch

my only issue with this movie is so dumb and nerdy but during the invasion Duncan escapes on a thopter with a shield then the Harkonens fire a laser at him. They would not risk this as if they hit him with shield on it would destroy everything in about 100km. I've seen arguments for the fact that his shield could have been disrupted by a rocket impact, but I do not believe they would risk it. I also understand rule of cool but everything else in this movie had been so meticulous.
