Hey Peaches! One of the more...poorly received, MCU movies finally gets a long awaited rewatch. Does this movie still deserve the 'meh' feelings many have towards it, or are there some hidden gems that we've forgotten since Jane got the Reality Stone.?

I know you guys are having fun and all, but the Boer War was pretty bad. Fought between 1899 and 1902 between the British Empire and the Boer republics (Dutch colonizers originally) for the control of South Africa. Some notes include atrocities such as some of the first Concentration camps, mass relocation, and razing of civilian lands. Imperialism at its height essentially. Okay autism outburst over This one seems like a downgrade from some of the other marvel productions. Some of the battles felt very 2000's TV. A lot of up-close fight shots and just chaos. Enjoyed the reaction. Also, Asgard sure has a big dungeon are we sure that they are the good guys?

I love that Jay's pitch for a reason why the Dark Elves are doing this is almost exactly the reason stated right in the beginning voice over. That said, the movie could have built it out a bit in the rest of the film and not just left it to a quick bit of exposition.

they pull a lot of "inspiration" from other properties in this movie. LOTR, game of thrones. Warhammer (both fantasy and 40k), and of course Star Wars. I think this films biggest failure is establishing its own style/voice and it borrows from too many things that quite frankly do it better. The Crashing into the palace scene was apparently done by the same studio that did that swtor trailer. That's why it was almost shot for shot.

Okay…so that soldier that came to Odin about finding a body…that was Loki in disguise, right?
