Hey Peaches! After Project Hail Mary we had to immediately watch the other movie based on an Andy Weir book. What must a man do to survive on Mars for over a year after he's been 'Home Alone'd? It's another grand story of survival and humanity coming together in the name of science and camaraderie.

despite all the "bad" science in this movie the only thing that really kills my suspense of disbelief is that Sean Bean survives the whole thing.

with regarding to current times, I remind myself that the last time we went to the moon Vietnam was in full swing, and this country was on the verge as well. So, we'll be okay.

So id anyone else between this, Hail Mary, and Artemis is into a space kick, I highly recommend the podcast Failure to Launch, which is a very funny podcast on the history of space travel run by a few engineers

I actually just watched Mackenzie Davis in a mini series called Station Eleven. It was pretty good. It came out in 2021 and was HBO product. Back to The Martian with a cast and source material this good it was always going to be a banger. Absolutely love this movie even if some of the science is wrong

Okay, and now we need y’all to watch For All Mankind! (Also Pluribus, while we’re on the AppleTV mention)

You mentioned syncing the "meows" a second after I synced based on your "meows"

Need more space hopecore movies! If you're on a space/NASA kick, I think you'd like Hidden Figures!

JSin

I'd say its more Space Castaway, no fun martian robbers like in Home Alone lol

Matt Damon did back to back movies where he was all alone on another planet (Interstellar).
