Hey Peaches! Heiter convinced Frieren to stick around and tutor Fern, and then made one final request for her to take the young mage with her. Later they come across a statue of Himmel and the memories, and our emotions, start to flow.

One of the things I love about this show, that becomes much more apparent later on, but you start to see the first hints of here, is that despite Frieren saying in episode 1 that she barely knew Himmel or anything about him, that's not true. The story seems at first that it's going to be about making up for missed opportunities, but it is in fact about how even if you didn't realize it at the time, those moments and memories stayed with you, and shape you.
