I am begging - who is Neal? Nate?

I completely understand why people feel the marvel fatigue, but honestly idk if I'll ever get there, like I try not to take this stuff too seriously, I love the stuff that's good, I try to find the good in the things that aren't, and I just have a good time. It's kind of a tradition for my mom and I to go see all these movies in theatres, we've been going since I was basically a toddler, and I think we've only ever come out having a bad time like twice, and to me that's good enough for me to still be pumped about this stuff. Excited to keep up the streak and see BND tomorrow, here's hoping it lives up to the hype. Also dammit, now I need to know what a snoucan looks like.

Film Master

Technically this is Jumanji 4

Deadpool was wearing a grey jean suit. That was the joke, lol. It took me so long to get it

The cop in the reacher trailer is the main character of the movie fanboys (with Dan fogler jay baruchel and Kirsten bell ) and the band rush and specifically the song "tom Sawyer" is a major plot point in that film (I love that movie because it's literally about a group of friends trying to steal a copy of the phantom menace before it was released , it was written by the guy who wrote ready player one and u can tell because of how the film treats women etc and nerd cred is defined by being able to quote trivia facts about nerd culture but it's still a great movie and is surprisingly heartwarming ) That cop actor was also in season 1 of Lucifer as a manosphere type coach

I know it's been missing from all of the trailerpalooza's, so is there any chance of reactions to the new season of Batman Capes Crusader that dropped today?

Matchbox had no connection other than they played with them as kids, and is s a generic spy action movie, Barbie was Barbie it was that world, this was none of that. call it something else even then it just seems ok.

Darren J

Yeah the first one with Robin Williams is canon.

Kevin McGuiness

If Jumanjthree doesn't end with a Zathura tease I'm gonna riot

Bryan Fuqua

According to Space Jam 2, his name is Al G Rithm

You guys should definitely check out The Recruit on Netflix it is amazing!! I binged both seasons and I can’t stop thinking about it.

For that Match Box movie (I have NEVER heard of them as a name brand, only Hot Wheels. But I have heard “a match box car”)… it feels like they took an already-written screenplay (“It’s True Lies, except instead of a wife he’s got four friends!”) and then just slapped an intro of said friends playing with toy cars and called it a day.

I hope you go watch the full Jean/Grey Deadpool clip. It's hilarious

The day after the Ghost Rider announcement, Ryan's wife posted a video of her character Roxy, from Ghost Rider, giving Ryan her approval. It's rather sweet

My husband and I are going the Matchbox movie has a theme/message in the movie. Like Barbie and even the LEGO movies did. But if ends up just being a fun action movie we can watch with our kids, that will be okay

Talking about the kiddos, there is a question for Adam. We saw Adam do the 6-7 hands. Did he do it accidentally or on purpose because this was episode 67?

Venom

Sandwiches.

The bummer about Neuromancer is that it was so far ahead of its time that almost all scifi that has come after it has stolen from it in one way or another, so I have a feeling that all of the ideas presented will seem stale. A lot of modern classic scifi is based on ideas Gibson introduced in this series. Sci-fi in the 60s and 70s (and the 80s where Neuromancer comes in) is darker and grittier and more hopeless about the future because it was reflecting the in-recent-memory McCarthy hearings/witch hunts; (for the U.S., at least) our mess in Viet Nam; the ongoing Cold War; and we were all on the precipice of human extinction. There wasn't a lot of hope for the future after the Apollo program fizzled and the gas prices went up and the USSR was still a MAJOR threat - and Gibson wrote this during the Reagan era, when the president literally made a joke on the air about bombing the Soviets like that was funny ha-ha, and the early years of cable tv, video games, and the personal computer (the reality of everyone having some kind of computer or console for their home grew exponentially during the 80s). I wish you could have read it when it came out - it was 1984-levels of mind-blowing.
