Hey Peaches! It's time to pick up with Kara after she left the Fortress of Solitude in last year's Superman. She's not in the best place. With Krypto as her only true attachment to home she sets off to celebrate her birthday. But when a young girl on a quest for vengeance crosses Kara's path Krypto gets caught in the crossfire. It's a race against time to save her dog and, hopefully, herself.

What happened to the rest of the post-movie thoughts and feelings? Shit, what did Jay even rate it?

(I accidentally deleted my comment. I probably can’t replicate it properly.) As a woman? This movie hit. It hit hard and it hit at the heart. It hit from the very beginning. It hit in every way. It was strong from beginning to middle to end. You guys, as you often acknowledge, are not always the target demographic or audience for certain things. I can see why Superman may have hit harder for you. I acknowledge that you guys truly try to embrace and grow and understand others’ experiences and are inclusive and caring and progressive. It’s so good. And I’m so glad you overall enjoyed and liked this film and want to see more of her, just as I want to see more of this Superman. But you need to know that for so many women? This movie hit HARD. From the START. It is relatable, emotional, and while we aren’t all super-abled individuals, it spoke to how we feel like we have to be that person all the time even when we aren’t feeling like it. It was a story of grief management, trying to protect another young woman from going down a path she would reject, finding home, finding family, finding herself, accepting herself, learning that you don’t have to be a stepford-ass person to be good or kind. Finding yourself. And there’s a certain group of people who hated this film — a film about a young, flawed woman who breaks up a sex trafficking ring and prevents another young woman from becoming the kind of monster she rages against. Gee, I wonder which group is mad about women killing sex traffickers…

Also, did the video cut off early? It felt like it cut off mid-Jay’s commentary. No Adam response or review. Oh, and your other intros are better. Maybe don’t make them as long, but this one was too short. We do still like you taking us out to dinner. Last note: watch Superman and then Supergirl with your wives. Make it a double-feature. Buy them their favorite meal or something to convince them if you have to. Don’t as for reactions until BOTH are done. Then evaluate. Don’t even do it for content — just do it for your own sake. Just. As a lady. I recommend you do it.

saying there isnt anything bad about this movie is wildness

Parker

Kara should have murdered Kremm after she saw that he killed the little girl and her parents. All that rage seemed to just disappear

Jeffrey Martinez

I'm confused, she did kill Kremm at the end of the movie

Parker

after waiting till the very end, still going on and on about "no don't kill anyone" and holding back the entire fight when she could have just snapped his neck instantly

Stephanie Krutsick

You missed the whole point of the movie and her journey.

Parker

Can't really imagine being happy with the message being continue to allow human traffickers to kidnap and rape little girls but you do you Stephanie

Paris Moreno

But I love your intros the way they are tho. They are PEAK chaos 🥺🙃

Talking about the intro, I watch everything from you guys - there are only a few times where after the reaction, depending on whether I didn't like the content that we're watching or if the discussion isn't interesting - I may skip it or close out of the tab once the credits start to roll. It totally depends, but for the majority of watchalongs, I'll stay until the very last 'Bye'. I don't watch your YouTube at all anymore, because everything is here in full lengths - even recently full-length trailers which is amazing. I love the laughs and jokes from you guys, the unfiltered, uncut parts.. it's part of the whole experience imo.
