Shotgun King coming to consoles on August 24th + all our games coming to Steam! (Patreon)

Hi punks!

Double announcement today! Both have been in preparation for quite a long while, so we hope you're as excited as we are.

First, Shotgun King is coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series on August 24th!!

Back in 2022, sometime around Shotgun King's Itch release, a personal acquaintance from the Headbang Club studio approached us and asked whether we'd be interested in a console port of the game. Long story short we said "yeah sure as long as you take care of everything" and here we are over a year later, about to release our first ever console game as Punkcake Délicieux, having done almost nothing at all to make it happen. What a time to be alive!!

Truly our friends at Headbang Club did incredible work of adapting the game to both the technical and design exigencies of modern consoles, and with very little help from us. The game even has some brand new art, a new interface for consulting achievements directly in-game, new controls, some new localizations, and a tutorial which I did the writing for! (though they wouldn't let me put "horse fuckers" in but that's ok) The result is super slick and professional and we can't wait for you to play it!

And now the second announcement:

All our games are coming to Steam, one every Thursday, starting with an updated Antecrypt next week on August 3rd!!

This has been a long time coming... All the games shall have Steam achievements, Steam cloud support, and they should all work nicely with Proton for all you Linux users out there! (we'll still make native linux ports eventually though)

If you are or have been a Patreon subscriber, you will get Steam keys for all the games that you got with your subscription, and you'll be able to redeem them on punkcake.club as each game comes out!

Likewise, if you bought any of the games on Itch you will be able to get a Steam key from each individual Itch download page.

The new version of Antecrypt coming out next week features a brand new original soundtrack by Pentadrangle, you can get a small taste of it here in the new trailer!
