FULL CHAPTER HERE —> AGAINST MY WILL 22

“R-really?” Janet Pym slumped forward over the board, both elbows resting on all the switches and keys as she tried not to cry. “All the lines?” Wet eyes stared at the screens, red reflecting back onto her face as she looked at what she’d been getting for the last minute now.An eagle in yellow atop al that red, that over-forced acronym right beneath it— and right below that?OFFLINE.Every single band, from fleet to long range and even the all-units broadcast she had tried to send out; all had reported the same and given her just as much as any other she tried.Absolutely nothing.“All of them?” Her throat was almost bleeding after all that shouting, so much pointless theater as she realized she’d spent a full minute screaming into dead mics in what amounted to a closet.“Naturally, dear Doktor.”

The speakers sounded off again, the voice coming through it still as pleasant as a waiter offering to take her coat. Unfortunately, all she had to wear was a coat, the cold of the seat pressing into her thighs as Janet sat there and did her best to hold back unshed tears.“There is no point in fleeing anymore. The vents are all sealed, of course, a mistake we won’t make again. A small blunder but you are a small woman.” The voice almost laughed, that thickly accented German driving her up a wall with the way it slipped the words out. “Regardless, do not worry your increasingly-little head over it. Nothing more to be done thant to sit tight and be patient.”

“...the psychics.” Her palms flattened on the switchboard terminal in front of her, fingers splayed for all of five seconds before they came together in tight fists. With another scream, she brought them down hard, shoulder and back lighting up with a flare of pain. “The damn psychics! It was them, wasn’t it?”Because there was no other option. It had been running in the back of her head since before she ever even left the ducts, the simple facts of it— twenty thousand men on an island half a world ways and the only reason thy were on that damn island were the psychics who fed them that info. There was no one else that SHIELD trusted more than Psi-Division, at least when it came to information they couldn’t get anywhere else and all this came from the brain scans of dead aliens.Brain scans nobody else but the psychics could verify.

Against My Will 22

Laughing. He was laughing. Too much and too hard, and he couldn't stop. Not that he was really trying all that hard when the laughing was coming out of ribs that hurt so much less than they had seconds ago and a body that felt light and strong instead of weak and weighted-down.

Oh fuck our boy needs to save her before she gets body jacked by a nazi

KirbyLover

How the hell is a test tube holding her?

zfighter18

Originally, Janet did not have her normal strength at that size as she was able to be kept in glass

KirbyLover

Well I assumed that she was weaker because she was held in place, but I was thinking more in terms of why can’t she just get bigger again? That kind of glass, especially given it’s in the form of a test tube with a cork on it, couldn’t contain really any part of the human body if it was being forced hard enough. The glass would break before her flesh tore or bones broke.

mordante

Wow, the stakes were set up beautifully. Good writing!

Hooli4ss

Damn she’s cooked . These bastards need that Green Death immediately. Time to start gaining allies .

She can get bigger but it wouldn't immediately make her have the same durability as her grown body. So much like the Ant man in Thanos ass hypothetical, this isn't going how you'd think it go.
