The flat expanse of Arizona desert filled the television screen, censored swears blanking out whatever sound there was in a rain of bleeps. The cloud of black smoke on the screen was nearly as much of a censor, but the man raining expletives behind the camera was doing his best to drown out the screaming behind him.“Jesus ▇▇-ing Christ!” Something small tore past the view of the camcorder, red-and-gold barely visible behind the blue thrusters at its back as what looked like missiles tore free from it and screamed into the underside of something bigger and grayer. A split-second later, a bolt of lightning struck upwards, veins of blue-white visible for miles and miles. “Jesus Mother-▇▇-ing Christ!” “Mother-▇▇! What the ▇▇! Jesus, are you ▇▇ getting this?!” Something moved high above the smoke, gray and far too big to be real. “Holy ▇▇, holy ▇▇-ing ▇▇, are you seeing this right now?”All of a sudden, the sky lit up in a flash of green; something massive swallowing half the picture as a streak of emerald engulfed the clouds and swept everything above them away.“Holy ▇▇—!” The footage cut.
