My interpretation regarding Quinn was always that he's "street smart" enough to know not to fuck with Dexter after knowing what he is capable of, so basically self-preservation

They way I always took it as was because Dexter cleared Quinn of Liddy's death and since Quinns always been somewhat shady he took it as a favour and decided to get off Dexters back.

Season 7 is probably my least personal favorite season but it does have a lot of incredible stuff going, as usual with this show. Dexter and Deb's dynamic, plus Ray Stevenson's character is one of my favorite villains in the entire show, up there with Brian and Trinity personally. You're in for some great stuff

Controversial but I feel like this season has the best opening episodes in the entire run. Seasons 2 & 4 had the best finales, but this is the best first two episodes without a doubt. The acting, the tension, all of it.

I respect that, although I think *that* new character who appears in the next few episodes (I won't name here but you probably know who i mean) really brings it down for me, but maybe that's just me, I know many people love that character. Not a bad season in my opinion by any means though, and like I said there's a ton of great stuff to come.

yeah this is the general conclusion among fans. Plus, Dexter did him a solid by clearing his blood results to exonnerate him with the Liddy situation, and I always felt that Quinn really respected that which is why he backed off, not just because of his relationship with Deb. Quinn doesn't play by the rules and knows how to preserve himself above all.

I'm so excited. A lot of people put the later seasons down, admittedly 8 more than this one but for me 6 was the worst ever season of Dexter. It's all smooth sailing from now, you got some great characters coming up, some banger episodes and you're over the hump.

During season 4, when investigating the bathtub murder, Dexter held up a blood slide and Lundy appeared. So Doakes was NOT the only person to use blood slides.

Yeah... *That* new character is among the main reasons s7 is one of the least favorite of mine, I`ve grown to appreciate it more for other stuff that`s good here though
