I don't think we discussed it at the time, but after Kurt killed the girl in episode 2 he drained her blood and then after he shot Cloe he tried to repair her face. All suggesting preserving the bodies.This already happened so I don't think I'm giving anything away. Just a reminder

Heard a really interesting analysis recently, that Dexter may not actually be a psychopath at all, but may have been misdiagnosed, and actually had autism. It makes a lot of sense when you look at the details.
