Zeke was able to pass the vow renouncing war because he didn't eat the Founding Titan. Despite having royal blood, since he didn't eat the Founding, he didn't inherit the memories and ideals of the first king. He got to the Paths without being corrupted by the vow because he used Eren to get there.

It’s so funny how Zeke was so obsessed with the idea that Grisha must’ve brainwashed Eren when Eren’s just always had this tenacity in him. In fact, his mother’s words (that he’s special for being born) probably had a greater impact on Eren than anything Grisha ever said.

Remember the tune where eren Kruger mentions Mikasa and armin name in season 3 finale it was one of the first mentions of attack on titan power. The reason eren father goes against him but then proceeds to give eren his titan is because eren didn't show everything to his father(memories) he didn't show him that Carla died in the assault of colassual titan. Also a big part of eren change happens because of him kissing historia hand unlocking memories of the future because of making contact with a royal blood, that's why his face was bizarre in the finale of season 3.

It’s not the usual time travel shenanigans Grisha is basically at the time was seeing Eren’s future memories (which were happening rn in the ep) He was seeing himself through Eren’s POV hence why he comment on Zeke appearance but never Eren.

You’re right, Grisha is able to see the future because the Attack Titan has access to memories of future inhabiters. He “sees” the future through Eren’s memories. That’s also why he’s able to see Zeke, because Eren sees Zeke.

Zeke taking Eren through a stroll through his dad’s memories to prove he was brainwashed only to accidentally set Eren’s plan in motion by doing that:

Grisha could acces the future memories of Eren and could therefore see through Erens eyes and could hear Eren(himself) talking to Grisha. So when Grisha saw the old Zeke he really saw it from Erens perspective of the scenes.

And the moment Eren kissed Historias Hand in season 3 he could see all the things Grisha experienced in that scene where he killed the little kids. So he knew from there what was about to happen and what will happen in the future. Therefore also the character and ideal change from Eren since this moment.

To add to this: The royal blood contact (kissing Historia's hand) was the physical trigger, but what specifically unlocked the memories at that exact moment was Eren's mind and focus—he was thinking about his father, Grisha, right then. It's almost like intent and mental focus act as a compass in the Paths. The royal blood opens the door, but the user's intent, willpower, and mental state dictate how and what memories are accessed and unlocked I hope he sees our explanation anyway.

yeah to put it simply (kinda, nothing about this is simple) every attack titan host's memories are connected to each other, meaning they can see both the past and the future through the attack titan's eyes. eren used this to communicate with grisha in the past, in which from grisha's POV, he was seeing the future version of eren, pretty much pushing him to kill the Reiss family. Eren was behind all of this without even knowing it since the start of the show. i dont even know how to explain it properly, maybe i've put it in a confusing way, but either way this must be the most insane plot twist i've ever seen to date
