Hi!

All animations for the next game update are done — every single one.

Now, only the coding remains between me and the early access release.

Of course, it wouldn’t be an RTX5090 era without a few… surprises.

First, my shiny new DAZ 2025 Premiere decided it didn’t feel like batch-rendering animations. I had to roll up my sleeves and fix that before anything else could move forward.

Then, the frame interpolation tool I’ve been using for years — my trusty helper for turning 30fps animations into silky-smooth 60fps — turned out to be allergic to the RTX 50xx series. That was fun. But I found a workaround for that one, too.

I’m really hoping these are the last compatibility hiccups of this GPU transition, because I’d like to spend next week actually making the game instead of arm-wrestling my tools.

If all goes according to plan, coding starts immediately, and early access should be available next Friday or Saturday.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TVs 📺 may still run at 24 fps, I don't remember, but I always saw it fine there. However, when you compare the same animation at 30 and 60 fps on a PC, you do notice the difference. It's also true that your eyes can adapt to 30 fps if you watch it for long enough 😆. As a gamer, I've already been affected by the 50XX series not being compatible with old 32-bit PhysX.

Fantastic work, man!

Yeah, good point. Somehow, 24fps on TV is fine, but 30fps in the game is noticeable.
