Weekly Update 35/2025 (Patreon)

Hello, lovely people!

Chapter One is nearly finished. All events, renders, and animations are now included in the game. I even programmed automatic save-file names — so when you save, you’ll now see:

🎮 Game Mode (Full / Kinetic Corrupt / Kinetic Pure)

💎 Laura’s main state (Pure / Corrupt)

This way, testing various playthroughs won’t become a nightmare of trying to guess which Laura was which. (Especially for me.)

Next, I’ll spend a few days rebuilding the Scene Gallery — the original system was too complicated. The new one will be simple, elegant, and hopefully foolproof.

I also need to double-check that Chapter One variables transition smoothly into Chapter Two — once that’s done, the hardest and most complex part of the remaster will finally be behind me.

On a personal note: last week I wrote about my father-in-law’s heart problems. This week… let’s just say my own heart started sending warning signals. Not as dramatic, but enough to make me finally stop and think. I’ll probably need to take a short break soon — one week off to reset.
