Weekly Update 21/2026 (Patreon)
Content
This week, I have absolutely nothing new to report.
Except that I am now approximately one bureaucratic checkbox away from a complete mental breakdown.
Last week, I wrote that exchanging emails with Steam once a day isn't very efficient due to the time difference.
How young... How innocent... How optimistic I was...
Steam still hasn't replied.
On Tuesday, I even sent a follow-up message with a screenshot showing that the content survey is still locked.
The ticket still says: "Awaiting Support."
The documentation says that unlocking the survey is a simple support request.
The reviewer signed his message as "Support."
So now I find myself wondering whether there is:
Support
Support Support
Advanced Support
Secret Support
Support Plus Premium Edition
Because at this point, I genuinely don't know.
Today, I opened a second ticket specifically about unlocking the survey.
We'll see what happens.
The truly beautiful part is that all of this is happening because of one checkbox.
A checkbox that currently has more power over my life than I do.
My original plan was simple:
Finish Chapter 2.
Submit Chapter 2.
Get approval.
Take a small vacation in July.
Now the vacation increasingly feels like one of those mythical creatures people talk about, but nobody has actually seen.
To be clear, I understand the review process.
Rules are rules. That's fine.
What I would love, however, is communication that is at least vaguely compatible with human logic.
Anyway.
There is nothing I can do now except wait.
So I will continue working, continue pretending to be patient, and continue refreshing my inbox far more often than any reasonable person should.
Thank you all for the support.
Have a great weekend.
Nemiegs.
