Hello!

Long time no see...

Quite a lot has happened over the past two weeks, so let's go through everything in order.

The Steam thriller finally came to an end yesterday evening.

Yes... Chapter 2 has finally been approved for release!

I first submitted Chapter 2 at the end of May.

A week later, it failed.

One tiny checkbox in the Adult Content Survey.

Unfortunately, that checkbox was inside a section that Steam automatically locks after the storefront is approved, so I couldn't even fix it myself. After spending nearly two weeks trying to reach Support, they eventually ticked the box for me, and I was finally able to resubmit the game.

Then came rejection number two.

This time, Steam wanted a more detailed description of the mature content, particularly regarding the submission and domination themes.

Fair enough. I updated the description, submitted the build again...

...and finally, yesterday evening, Chapter 2 was approved.

To be honest, I had convinced myself they would ask me to remove a couple of scenes that I considered dangerously close to the line.

My nerves were completely fried. I'm fairly sure I discovered several new grey hairs during this review. But yesterday evening I finally received the email I'd been waiting for.

Meanwhile, a week ago I released the Early Access version here on Patreon...

...and then I disappeared.

This week is Midsummer week in my country. Everything basically stops. Nobody works.

People gather with family and friends, light bonfires, eat far too much cheese, drink beer, stay awake until sunrise, and collectively pretend that work simply doesn't exist.

After working since February, usually around fourteen hours a day, often for weeks without a single day off, my brain had turned into mashed potatoes.

The prescribed treatment was:

beer

cheese

bonfires

family

good friends

I followed the prescription exactly. The patient has made a remarkable recovery.

Today was originally supposed to be the official Patreon release.

Instead, I've decided to spend one final week going through Chapter 2 with a fresh brain before releasing it officially.

The Early Access week has already helped me find a few bugs, and after finally getting some proper rest, I've also come up with several small improvements that I think will make certain story moments clearer and stronger.

Nothing major. Just polishing.

I know this means the official Patreon release will happen one week later than originally planned.

I hope you'll understand.

I'd much rather spend one extra week making the experience better than release it today and immediately start patching it afterwards.

Thank you, as always, for your incredible support.

Have a wonderful weekend, and I'll see you again next week. ❤️

Great news 🥳🎉! I only knew about the first rejection because of the missing tick, and I didn't realise it was the second one 😥. Okay, everything's finally sorted now 😌. You'll do a final polish this week, after which I suppose you'll take a well-deserved vacation and buy some dye to combat the new grey hairs 😁👍.

The second rejection came this Monday, so I did not inform anyone. Basically, the plan is a partial vacation after the release. I will script Daz files from the Legacy game for use in the remaster. During that time, my PC is unusable, so yeah, a couple of hours a day at PC preparing scripts, the rest of the day off while the Scripts run.

Thanks, you did a great job and we'll be happy to wait (of course I'll also buy the Steam version for supported users). Quote: "The prescribed treatment was:-beer-chees-bonfire-family-hood friends " Great therapy, yeahhhh

Great. Eager for the steam release. Something funny happened. I went to steam to check if the game was available and in similar games steam recommends the Witcher 3. Really? Honestly I don’t understand the reasoning behind it. 😝

Sometimes I have no idea how that algorithm works...
