The combo attack from our captains against Doflaming and Trebol continues to be such an epic moment. =D It's SUCH a good payoff for their joined battle here; espeically since Luffy was so gung-ho about getting to Mingo first for several epsiodes; wanting to be the one to beat him. The one exception being is Alliance partner; giving us the first real combined final battle since Nami helped him reach Enel all the way back. We've got an other good example of Luffy's choice in vocabulary in this one too, when he declared Bellamy his friend. He again used Tomodachi, the one that's utilised for most people he befriends along the way; with Nakama being reserved for his crew; with the exception of Vivi and Law.

That's true, (supplemental): but even being knocked out doesn't affect every single fruit. Some powers, or their consequences, are permanent until the user reverses it or some external factor negates them, even if the user dies. But Sugar and many other powers are the kind that stop working when they get KO'd
