We know 2 guilds right now: Hunters guild (Choi Jong-in and Cha hae-in) and White tiger guild. think you forgot that Jinwoo can use stealth mode

Umar Baig

you should remember that this is hunters only in South Korea....

Thank you for the double reaction, really loved it. Choi Jong is known as the ultimate weapon due to his destructive firepower as an S-rank, but he still requires support in raids. Jinwoo, however, balances high combat prowess with powerful summons like Igris and Tank, who, while slightly weaker than him, provide reliable backup. His army includes at least B-rank mages, enhancing his versatility. Skills like Stealth, Ruler’s Hand, curse and poison immunity, and weapon summoning give him unmatched adaptability unlike regular hunters. Case in point, Cha Hae-In was forced to resort to a pickaxe because she didn't have her weapon with her. The show also overlooked that Monarch’s Domain boosts his summons' power by 50% within range. As for power scaling, the existing hunter system doesn’t measure the exact strength of an S-rank hunter. Instead, once a hunter surpasses a set threshold, they are classified as S-rank, regardless of how much stronger they become. For example, if the threshold is 100, both a hunter at 102 and another at 2000 are considered S-rank, even though their power levels differ vastly. That's why it might seem as if Jinwoo reached S-rank a bit too soon. He's still at the lower end of that spectrum.

jinwoo look alike contest in my bedroom TONIGHT!!!

You forgot that when you reach a certain point in power, then your considered something else instead of an S-rank hunter

Yeah, as others have said, this is all in South Korea. The nickname "The ultimate weapon" or "The ultimate soldier" really only applies within South Korea. This has been mentioned in S1. It was kinda mentioned in passing so it's easy to forget.

I think in terms of raw magical firepower Choi probably still has Jinwoo outclassed, he just couldn't clear an A-rank dungeon alone because he is restricted by his class as a mage. Jinwoo is incredibly well rounded so can fill the roles of an entire strike team with just himself and summons.

Before this dungeon yes Choi had more magical firepower, afterward... probably not. Jing Woo already had mages strong enough to beat Kargalagan's defensive magic here. Now that he has Kargalgan himself on top of that his firepower probably exceeds Choi for sure. Don't forget he has the orb item that doubles the power of magic... pretty OP lol.
