J Geil didn't really lose because he was dumb or incompetent. Polnareff and Kakyoin just exploited a weakness. The Hanged Man is still probably the strongest stand they've fought so far and I don't think it would have ended differently if that stand was controlled by someone else. Hol Horse on the other hand... If someone smarter controlled The Emporer the whole squad except Jotaro would probably be dead.

Hell yeah we got a double episode! Also, the syncing issue isn't that big of a deal imo, having to pause my version for a few seconds isn't that bad, since I can still see roughly where in the episode you are in the little cutout for the subtitles. Can't wait for more jojo's! Only a few more months before part 7 comes out as well! Doubt you'll get that far by then, but I'm hyped anyway. Gives me a reason to rewatch my favourite part again with you!

Okay I'll give you credit for calling the townguy was dead. Also Jotaro's stand is power and precision, so he just inhaled really hard with the precision of the air around enyaba. If you overthink stuff like this you'll go insane in later JoJo parts.

I mean, I can think of way better ways for J Geil to fight so I agree with Jack. First off, if you have a power like that then you should carry around a bag full of reflective items - especially useful for if you get cornered. A bunch of reflective marbles would have been really useful for example. Or even something that can shoot out water is insane too since water is reflective. Hell you could even shoot a bullet and reflect off of the bullet. Or if we want to get really high IQ, you could use a paintball gun that shoots some reflective material on and around your enemies. If the Stand has a weakness I think that it does not do enough damage with each attack, but it's still powerful.

The Hanged Man is a ranged stand best used as he used it to stab Avdol so I don't know how much of a difference it would make if he carried anything with him. J Geil doesn't have much fighting capability himself so if Polnareff or Kakyoin were close enough for something he's carrying to make an impact, they're already close enough to kill him.

Araki (creator of JOJO’s) actually scrapped his idea for making Hol horse, a crusader because his personality was too similar to polnareff’s and thought his stand was too overpowered

It is very effective at range of course, but even when they closed the distance and cornered him Centerfold was still able to hold the advantage vs two other powerful stand users until they outsmarted him. Even at closer range, it sitll has a huge speed advantage and invulnerability when in the mirrors. If he threw the marbles, though, there would have been no weakness for them to exploit (as easily) and I think that's when the stand really becomes OP. I like the Marbles because they are reflective on all sides which means maximum range for Centerfold. Plus you can roll them around corners if they try to hide.
