Day 2 and I've already watched a couple episodes of season 2 like 3-4 times. I love it and all the reactions from fans and first time watchers

So Pedro was indeed a pirate before, if you remember thats why he went after Big Mom's Poneglyph and lost his partner. Tho i didnt pause it to see if thats who it was in ep1

Drake

''shit moth to a shit flame'' - Mr Lahey

Kim Adams

Captain of the Nox pirates!

Ender

Robin did not talk to Tashigi in Logue Town but that bit so good. They also bring in some filler charakter in the first episode: Ussopp taking the goggles from the little girl, her father is Daddy, a bounty hunter who lost against Yassop. The bartender Raoul where Gold Roger drank his last drink. The dude selling the fish, Sapi, to Sanji is the same dude that brought fish to the contest where Sanji won against Carmen in a cooking contest (the lady with the pink hair and the two dudes) - fun fact, Sapi is half fishman and half human, he has a fish fin on the back of his head (and in the live action as well, cool detail). There is probably more but I already can´t remember and have to rewatch the first episode :)

Ender

Luffy did not steer the Merry by stretching his arms but I think he used gum gum ballon in a filler episode. Gotta love the second episode - so much good stuff, very good pacing but two things that bugged me: 1. Where is the epic shot of everyone putting up their foot on the barrel to chant their dreams? 2. Luffy got Laboons attention and respect pretty quickly I don´t mind Brooks backstory told here and Garps involvement in the first season makes a lot more sense as a build up for the second season so that is good aswell. The sneak peaks and foreshadows are crazy good so far with Croccus living inside the whale shit goes down :)

Ender

Third episode: They do the enchanting dance but not in that way, Vivi does alone and much less successfull. The Icemobile was not a thing but the Mr.9 Baseball bat string things were. And Mr. 5 can explode with every bodypart of his which makes the booger thing much more funny because he would be so strong in meele fights.

Shiver

I doubt it will happen but I would love if smoker gets like an awakening or something and gets a huge power spike for him to be relevant in some way in current one piece. Such a good character imo

BalmunGG

They already did the foot on barrel thing in season 1, they just did it before loguetown.

Azael Santacruz

The Tashigi and Coby conversation about being a "good marine" by not following orders is a good set up for her desicion at the end of next season on Arabasta when she lets the Strawhats escape

Robbie james

when luffy sang to laboon..? was he doing the nika dance??

zoomTACO

The pieces next to Luffy and Vivi when they are honoring Igaram, if you haven't seen yet: The internet has pieced together that they look remarkably like (right to left) Nika, Brogy, and, an early depiction of a giant talked about in reference to Lola's marriage who was later revealed as [redacted] in the manga. Don't think we've see it in anime yet.

JayElJay

When luffy started singing I started crying harder than I ever have watching the anime wtf is wrong with me

Ender

Oh yeah, you are right XD damn I am mixing up timelines because they are as well

Ender

Fun fact, they messed up Crocus in the backstory of Brook and the Rumbar pirates - he is supposed to be about 19 to 21 at that time but looks like he hasn´t aged a year XD

Joshua

On the mole monster lie coming true: there's a list of Usopp's lies that have come true over the series so far.

chrisis

"at this point, i don't even remember!" So hype, they locked in so hard for season 2 man.

Michael Cyr

The song during the end credits of episode 1: did you realize that the song is My Sails are Set (the song during the end credits of episode 8 of season 1), apparently being sung in Italian?
