Three things: First, Takaba was actually introduced a few episodes ago. It was at the end of one of them, he was the struggling comedian who nobody seemed to find very funny. Second, Megumi is definitely Toji’s son, as if there was any doubt. 🤣 Third, in an old bedroom of mine, I used to have this recurring nightmare… where I’d come back from school and open the door to my bedroom. When I walked in, I’d try to turn on the lights, but they wouldn’t come on. So, I’d walk toward my bed, and at that point some shadow would grab me and pull me into the corner of the room where I’d just sink and sink into nothing, just like Reggie in Megumi’s shadow. Let me tell you that feeling fucking SUCKS.

takaba reminds me of luffy's 5th gear in that whatever he finds funny becomes reality in a way, bros a goat.

I kinda had a feeling Takaba would have a gear 5 type ability where he kinda just operates outside the rules of reality/jujutsu sorcery, especially being a comedian. And I think pairing him up with Megumi, a character who analyzes everything and deals strictly in facts and is the complete opposite of Takaba makes so much sense. I honeslty believe Takaba is the biggest dark horse in the story right now and will end up being much more important later on but who knows.

Takaba’s cursed technique from my understanding, is basically just toon force on the condition that he finds it funny. Which is fucking amazing 🤣🤣🤣
