"Fun" little detail in the opening! There's a shot of A fingernail being cut, and then it switches to a shot of Shigechi feeding some birds. If you overlay those two shots, the nail clippers are slicing over Shigechi's neck :) I love love LOVE Shigechi's character, he's such a perfect little kid to me, he's annoying and obnoxious and urks /everyone/ when they first meet him. But then literally with just one episode away from his introduction, we get the most brutal and cruel death of this child, and it always hits everyone so hard, because yeah everyone gets annoyed by him, but then the show really hits you with "hey man he's just a kid, he just wants to protect his mama and papa. We heard you talk about his weird as spiky head and said he looked weird. Those high school girls said the same thing and left him alone despite his face caving in and bleeding. For the same reason, kid just looked weird. You feel good about yourself? You wanna make fun of his deformed head again?"

o7 You can tell Jack is enjoying this part because of how locked-in he is, if after the part ends he says it's mid I'm calling the police. Also what's extra fucked is if those girls didn't hit Shigechi with the ball he probably would have made it in time before Kira touched the doorknob.

fun fact: When the manga came out it was horribly translated, so the whole picnic scene was literally the funniest thing. "What a beautiful Duwang! Chew. There must be no other place as pretty as this town. This feels like a Picnic."

Agreed. Seems like even stand users can't hear it otherwise Josuke and Okuyasu would have heard Shigeki blow up.

Jotaro is nerfed in part 4 cause he's rusty, at this point he can only stop time for half a second. It's not long enough for him to safely read the name, he would put himself at risk.
