Here is actual numbers as evidence for austin growth: I bought our 1100 sqft house in south Austin in NOV 2019 for $260K (15k under asking) and put 25k into HVAC, replacement windows & main drain line... We JUST refinanced last week (14 months later) and the appraisal came in at $370K! I can’t imagine a 2x, much less a 3x from there, but ill take it. We will be renting out out house next summer and looking for our next investment this fall.
