A couple days have now gone by since we released our new song EQUUS.... so... what's the verdict? We'd love to hear from each and every one of you! 

Below are the lyrics for the song so you can delve a bit deeper into this one!

Our label is still trying to fix the issue. I'll post up an update soon. The short version is that our song is sooo long Apple Music's system rejected it as not suitable for a single song release (Seriously haha). So it needs to be fixed manually and dealing with real humans always take ages it seems - Tim

"Her name is Mother...Mother - And hell follows with Her" - beautiful and tragic. The song is heartbreaking. Sometimes life does feel like a dream/nightmare. Sometimes it's worse than any nightmare you could dream.

It's absolutely spectacular. I've listened to it 22 times already (!) and it just blows me away every time. I'm astonished that you guys - who were already operating at a higher level than any metal band in the world - somehow manage to get better and better with each release. Looking forward to committing these lyrics to memory now so that I can foolishly scream along with Xen from the front row when you get back to the US. Perfection!!

Already a NeO classic. Favorite parts are violin harmonizing with Xen's screams, Tino's solo, and Xen's screams at the very end. The entire song is perfect and gives me confident that the album will be too. So glad you guys stuck it out through all the covid setbacks!

Quickly has become my favorite song of yours. The tears start when the strings kick in, from the first listen at the listening party and still does how many listens later. (I've honestly lost count) Someone else took the words from my mouth about the "Her name is Mother.." being so heartbreaking and tragic. The last sequence of Xen's screams at the end are absolutely crushing and beautiful, I can't get enough and cannot wait to hear the entire album.

I absolutely love this song, another masterpiece guys. I work at a theatre in regional NSW, we were setting up for a subscription launch yesterday. Full PA and screen ready to go, had time to kill so I put this song up on the screen and PA cranked. My manager and managers manager came in to rehearse the show, they didnt quite appreciate it in the same way I did.

FYI, in the US the music video cut off at ~7m45s for an annoying commercial break. Assuming the band didn’t approve that, could you have that removed to maintain the flow?

Is there a way to post the video here? Or create a commercial-free version with the link posted only here? Aside from that, amazing video, stunning performance. The song itself needed a little, but it grew on me and has become haunting and hypnotizing.🖤

I presume that is the label's decision to try and earn more money for the song? I would find that very annoying also though for sure :/ Especially in such a key moment. We've had a bunch of comments about that so will bring it up with them.

Beautifull. Intense. Heartbreaking. Pain. Grief. Rage. It makes me want to do something to comfort you for the sadness and suffering that you convey. To avoid all that pain. Benji makes his guitar cry in his elegy for Mother Earth; 'Burning again' sings Tim heartbroken and Xen screaming in pain and rage for her... Damn, you guys are so good! P.s.I don't get the reference to Boudica. Probably because I automatically visualize the wonderful aesthetics of the druids of the 'Britannia' series (long to explain). But I don't get the relationship.

I have always been thoroughly impressed with Xen's way of expressing himself lyrically. I couldn't stand studying poetry in school but I could spend hours picking apart Ne Obliviscaris lyrics. This song is so powerful, from the content to performance.

Not sure, but she was a leader of an oppressed and besieged people and she was captured, raped and murdered, so Mother Earth and Boudica have something in common.🤷‍♀️ Xen will maybe explain at some point.....🖤
