Here is a 15min video detailing our recent Australian headline tour at the end of 2016. This was an absolutely incredible tour for the band, with some really special shows and some wonderful experiences with fans.

Watch out around 2 minutes in for the absolutely HORRIFYING incident where Xen accidentally kicks my violin... making it horriblying out of tune and me wondering what the hell happened!

Thanks again to all our Aussie fans and especially all those Ne Obluminati who came out to the shows! We can't wait to see you again once the new album is ready for launch. \m/

Tim/NeO

P.S. The original version of this video accidentally (whoops!) included a full version of a new song...that is only supposed to be for Revered & up members. So to anyone who got to watch it in full, good for you! haha For the rest, there is a couple minutes snippet in there for you to check out. ;-)

Xen looks like he belongs in the Matrix movies with that set of sunglasses he's sporting! What's the title of the new song? Sounds fucking awesome! Looking very much forward to pre-ordering the new album when it's announced. Thanks for an incredible evening at 170 Russell in Melbourne. Witnessed Katatonia a few weeks later at the corner, and their performance paled in comparison to NeO. That's the truth. That night last November was absolutely electric! Alcest and Opeth are next! Cheers guys! \m/

Anca

Oh wow, that new song! I am actually at work but sort of suspended everything to just watch the video once again *grin

Tina

.... new .... song .... around .... 14 minutes ..... ? O.O

Tina

P.S. A nice advertisment for a vacation in Australia. ;) you could do something with the national tourist agency, like Poets of the Fall did with Visit Helsinki. ;)

John Gliss

See...Now i want that new song...

Alison Hollitt

Went to the Adelaide show on this tour. Favourite gig of 2016 by far :)

Bethany

I love these videos :) Tour van Tetris at its best. We have a giant pineapple here in South Africa, nowhere near as impressive as that ram though :P

Bethany

Also, new song sounds incredible! :D

Fabian & Merlijn Vermeire

Hey guys, trying to watch the video from Belgium, but it is listed as private. Any idea what might be wrong? Thanks in advance!

Tina

it's maybe because they're uploading a different one? see the "edit" note above? maybe related to the post on facebook?

Ne Obliviscaris

Check the edit note on the post above! New version up soon

Tina

damn! so ... if we hadn't mentioned the new song, you wouldn't have noticed and we could still watch/listen to it....? ;)

Val

This new song sounds a little bit more doomy... Which is nice ! Can't wait to discover it in full on your new album :)

Laurent Colombera

Thx for the mistake ;-) Seriously, the song kicks ass live so can't wait to hear it on the album

Ira Infligida

It is nice to have a view of what's life on tour for you, guys, thanks for the sharing! But, I have to admit that, despite what really would have meant for Tim, "the accident" moment was one of the best so far xDDDD The expectation created, the comments, the reactions, the "where's the gazapo" red circle time... You're the best, hahaha

Tina

at least Matt didn't STEP on it ... O.O

Ne Obliviscaris

haha...it was actually the comments about it that made me think there was a problem and I skipped to that section and went "oh no!" :p

Tina

Damn ....! I should refrain from typing some times .... O.o

Anca

My thoughts exactly...

Tina

That you shouldn't type or that I shouldn't type ...? ;)

Oliver Midson

A little part of me died seeing the knocking over of the violin aha how terrible

Steve Varvaris

Gents, it is sad that a member of the NeO family has left, however you were damned if you did and condemned if you didn't. Congratulations on the professional way you handled a difficult situation and I look forward to new great chapters in the NeO story. Proud to be Obluminati!
