Earlier today the Nyiragongo volcano in the democratic republic of Congo erupted. It’s lava pool drained in two directions; one went towards Goma to the south, the other went towards the Rwanda border to the east. I’m keeping a close eye on the ongoing events, but appears to be a carbon copy of the 2002 eruption.

Nyiragongo is such a dangerous volcano the fact that the world bank cut the funding for the research team in goma was completely pathetic and trust me when I say alot of fingers will be pointed at them too the fact the people weren't as prepared as they could of been. Makes my blood boil when they play politics with peoples lives. Inexcusable.
