Serenity Chapter 2 - Ep. 6 (Devlog 1) (Patreon)

Hi everyone...

First a quick review of the Last Human release: A few mistakes slipped through and will be dealt with for the next update. As I have said recently, episode 8 will be the finale for Season 1. Season 2 development has already begun (base project folder setup, etc.). Once Season 1 is completed. Season 2 releases will simply pick up where we left off and be released after the Serenity Chapter 2 finale release (Episode 7). Anyway, the mistakes... There are some tails missing, I am aware. There is also the one I mentioned where MC's internal dialogue mentions pain in his left side... should be right side. No idea how I did that one but there it is. All issues reported to me will be resolved for the next LH update.

Last Human Season 2 note: I wanted to let you know ahead of time that I am planning to NOT use previous saves. It will be much easier this way... just have you answer a couple of quick questions at the start to create the variables. There are only a couple of choices in LH Season 1 that will matter in Season 2 (The Cammie and Rin situations). Also, many of you will be happy to know that there will be a pre-game setup where you'll be able to name everything, including 'Puppy', 'Pet', MC's first and last name, etc. You will no longer need mods for that. There will be options for choosing what your pets call you and what you call them. Also, I have been flooded with requests to give a choice for the MC to hook up with Rin. There are a lot of various personal opinions on that situation so it will be written in a way that lets you make that decision before she does anymore 'nsfw' stuff with you (MC). Finally, at some later date I do plan to go back and fix some things in LH Season 1, as well as add the same pre-game setup I mentioned for season 2.

Alright... Serenity fans... This game is where I started. I love this world we've been creating together for the last 7 years, but it really is time to bring it to a close and move on. There are a lot of other things I want to do. But I do have some notes and basic outline for a new Serenity, possibly in the future with the MC's son being the new MC. It will have all new characters but some previous characters will of course make appearances. He won't get far without help from his crazy Aunts after all... and his very protective mother. I'm sure if you think about it, you know who his mother is going to be. You'll learn that in episode 6 (the one I am working on now). I had plans to make all of them preggo but only one be the son... I may still do that. I haven't decided yet. We'll see what you have to say after this episode and go from there. Personally, I don't like the idea because it will take the focus off of other things and create a lot of extra stuff that will take time to develop. But we'll see. I can tell you that the ending I have setup with one pregnancy is going to be pretty good.

Serenity Chapter 2: Episode 6 will begin our confrontation with Anastasia in her domain. It should be a lengthy episode because there will be battles on 2 fronts... Shadows sent by Anastasia in the cities of mortals and then Anastasia herself. As hinted in the screenshot, most of the girls will be protecting humans on earth while MC, Camilla, and Lili will deal with Ana. Episode 7 will be all fun, happy ending stuff and will leave hints/opening for a new story in case I decide to move forward with that project in the future. If I decide to take on the project later, 'Serenity's Legacy' will pick up from that point. I am about 95% done with coding already, so rendering will begin very shortly. I am shooting for release before the end of August.

I can't ever close any post without pouring out a bunch of mushy, heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed money either by subscribing or purchasing posts. This was a successful release and I can't tell you how much I appreciate you for that. I am literally paying my bills out of this money now so every bit helps. So again, thank you so much for that!
