Well, well, well. We've got a nice new little bonus feature for all of our kind listeners, as we introduced a new $20 tier about 2 weeks ago, where you can donate $20 to the show and ask us to review any nu-metal song for you. Our first donor at this new tier was Chris, who asked us to review "Sinatra" by Deftones, from their B-Sides and Rarities compilation.

We dug into the band's history with cover songs, Helmet's negative attitude towards the cover, and our thoughts on the song. It's a fun little thing that hopefully we'll be able to do more of for you and make your donation even more valuable! Enjoy.

The chords comment is probably in reference to the fact that Helmet uses a lot of jazz chords in their music, so it might've been an instance of jazz snobbery. I actually saw Helmet live last year and after the show the crowd could go up to the front of the stage and shake Page's hand. I would 100% recommend relistening to Helmet, especially Meantime.
