It's not quite a nu-metal song but it is certainly one of the worst songs we've ever covered on the program. Thanks to Megan, we revisit this bizarre single, from it's "Banned from MTV" music video to the guy's strange history as a Canadian guy who somehow made it quasi-big due to being Duncan Sheik's neighbour. The song creeps us out and it will probably bother you too, but we can all agree that makes for a great episode!

Holy shit I had no idea this dude was from the same hometown as me. It finally makes sense why my local rock station played this song all the time.

Re: Custom never being played in Ohio…my college paper in Bowling Green had a full color insert of Custom promoting that song when it hit. Of course, we lived within the broadcast radius of a very popular 100KW border blaster alternative station from Windsor, Ontario which played this song constantly at the time, which probably explains that. I’m sure University of Toledo (and every other educational institution within 75 miles of Detroit) got the Custom propaganda in their student paper too.
