Y'All Want a Single #45: "Savage Season" by The Color 8 (Patreon)

Thanks to Charley, we are taking a look at another hyper-specific, local new nu-metal band, The Color 8. Based in Arizona, we couldn't find out much about the band but we did find out that this song kinda whips. A lyric in the song about Mortal Kombat leads us to dive into video games, Bryan's early love for hip-hop in his pre-nu-metal days, and we both think this band's unique style hits on something perhaps reminiscent of N*E*R*D and we both very much dig it.
