Episode 37: Life is Peachy Articles (Patreon)

Hey Kids,

We are only one day out from posting the episode so if you haven't listened yet, don't fret. It's a doozy, though, and the articles, as they always are with Korn, are absolutely insane. Here's a breakdown of what we covered, and these ones are worth reading all the way, trust me. There's tons of gold that didn't make the episode.

Chronicles of Chaos: "Kareless and Krazy: CoC Interrogates Korn" (Feb. 1, 1997)

In this article, Jon Davis talks about the press and how he doesn't want Korn to be overexposed. They also wax poetic about Ross Robinson being the unofficial sixth member of the band.

Rock 'n Roll Experience: "Korn--Jonathan Davis Interview" (Aug. 30, 1996)

Modern Drummer: "Up and Coming: David Silveria of Korn" (April 1997)

In where David discusses the recording process of Life is Peachy and his unwillingness to improve as a drummer.

Metal Hammer: "Interview--Jonathan Davis" (December 1996)

The motherlode of quotes in this episode, from the interviewer's very flowery introduction to Jon's quotes about being like his dad, the song "K&(&^(!", and his relationship with women.

Loudwire: "25 Years Ago: Korn Release 'Life is Peachy'" (Oct. 15, 2021)

A brief but insightful retrospective from the band about their drinking/drug habits during the recording of the record, and Jon Davis is a horny motherfucker.
