Ver. 2.00 update for the A1 Camera (Patreon)

The A1 version 2.00 firmware update was announced for the camera on March 28.
On March 29 Sony suspended the download with the following message.

"It was confirmed that some products updated to Ver.2.00 may not be able to connect to the network. Due to this issue, we have suspended the update. (March 29, 2024)"

I will monitor this situation and advise again shortly. The issue that is most likely causing the problem is the camera is now supposed to be able to upload files directly to the Creator's Cloud via a network connection (not having to be transferred to your smartphone first).

Previous Information about the A1 Firmware update
Unlike recent firmware updates for the A7CII, A7CR and A7RV cameras, the ver. 200 update for the A1 camera will reset the camera to its factory default. You will NOT be able to reload my current A1 Camset.

NOTE > Updates to the A7CII, A7CR and A7RV will NOT reset your camera, so the custom key configuration, Fn menu, Recall Custom Hold and Memory Recall (MR) settings will all be retained.
