hi Mark any advice on camera bodies that do exceptionally well in very low light situations, minimising noise as ISO is increased. I am looking to supplement my Alpha7R4, rather than replace it. So expense is an issue. It needn't be full frame.

hi Mark a few more questions about the alpha7Riv: 1. Is there a way of keeping the mode dial unlocked? I sometimes need to change between S/M/A rapidly and want to avoid having to press the central button to change. 2. when using the flexible spot focus, is there a way to fix the focus area so that I dont change it by accidentally pressing the multi-selector and change it between shots? Thanks! Les

Hi Les - I have just spotted this question and a previous one in the October 2020 Q&A forum. Can you copy and paste these into the current Q&A. The current Q&A is always the pinned post directly below the banner image on the landing page (reached by clicking on my creator profile on the left side of the page when your first log in). Thanks

The sensors currently best at High ISO performance are the 24 Megapixel sensors found in the A7III, A7C and the 33 Megapixel sensor found in the A7IV.
