FE 100-400 F4.5-5.6 GM OSS (DNG Files) (Patreon)

Sony's FE FE 100-400 F4.5-5.6 GM OSS is perhaps the most popular telephoto zoom for Alpha photographers looking for more reach than the three FE70-200 lenses offer. It was announced on the same day that the A9 was announced, and it is fair to say that the A9 would not have made much sense without this companion lens. For those wanting a lens with fast AF and enough reach to shoot sport or rapidly moving wildlife this lens delivers on both fronts.

I am sharing these Raw files (in the DNG file format) so you can see how this lens stacks up on your own large high resolution monitors. My workflow sees me discard the ARW files after I have converted the hero files to the DNG file format. I use the DNG file format as the editing information is embedded within the file (rather than using a sidecar file) and the DNG file also contains my embedded copyright data.
